Humberto Fontova takes Bob Beckel to school on the murderous collectivist thug known as "Che."

“I still have my Che Guevara poster. Che Guevara was a freedom fighter.” (Bob Beckel on FoxNews’ “The Five” Sept. 5th)

"A History Lesson for the Racist Bob Beckel."

If Bob Beckel’s “freedom-fighter” had been allowed his fondest bit of “freedom-fighting” Bob Beckel’s incinerated remains would fit in a gin bottle today. “America is the great enemy of mankind! Against those hyenas there is no option but extermination!...If the missiles had remained, we would have fired them against the very heart of the U.S., including New York City.”

“I don’t need proof to execute a man,” snapped Che to a judicial toady in 1959. “I only need proof that it’s necessary to execute him.”

For the record: Ernesto “Che” Guevara was second in command, chief executioner, and chief KGB liaison for a regime that jailed more political prisoners per capita than did Stalin’s during the Great Terror and murdered more people (out of a population of 6.4 million) in its first three years in power than Hitler’s murdered (out of a population of 70 million) in its first six. Many, perhaps most, of those murdered and jailed by the regime Che Guevara co-founded were Batista opponents.

The Stalinist regime Che Guevara imposed on Cuba also stole the savings and property of 6.4 million citizens, made refugees of 20 percent of the population from a nation formerly deluged with immigrants and whose citizens had achieved a higher standard of living than those residing in half of Europe. Many opponents of the regime Che Guevara co-founded qualify as the longest-suffering political prisoners in modern history, having suffered prison camps, forced labor and torture chambers for a period three times as long in Che Guevara’s Gulag as Alexander Solzhenitsyn suffered in Stalin’s Gulag. Most of these had been Batista opponents.

All true yet "irrelevant and immaterial".

Calling Che a Stalinist is a waste of air when the left here and in the former USSR's turf still regard that as a compliment.

Keep in mind that Obama's political "sensei", Bill Ayres, and the rest of the Weather Underground leadership debated how many of us would have to be sent to re-education camps and how many of us would be expected to not survive the process.

So, pointing out that Che was a Stalinist when 53% of American voters, including presumably Bob Beckel, put the disciple of a Stalinist in the White House accomplishes what?

Beckel only has a few brain cells left, so we should pity the man and try to make him comfortable as he slips into his little coma and vegetates into nothingness. He can join such luminaries as Chris Matthews and Racial Madcow.

I wish Bekel would put a loaded pistol in his lying mouth and pull the trigger, twice!

Everytime I see or hear that fool speak he's lying or fabricating some bullshit line of nonsense.

Love the Che's dead photo, is it available on a T shirt? I'd buy a half dozen if priced reasonably.

It is interesting to note that the likes of Beckel and his fellow travelers continue to get fatter with age. It is an indication that they have profited greatly from their lies.

We in the freedom movement should see to it that he and his ilk soon suffer massive coronary failure or some similar fate.

You know, I said after the Usurper was elected, that hubris and ego would overwhelm the communists' sense of practicality and dedication to the "cause" and they would take their masks off and show the public what they really are.

I notice it is happening a lot lately.

All of the epithets aside, what we can learn from Che, if we try, is that if the "good guys" don't address injustices and issues, the "bad guys" will.

Get it?

Che was many things, but he fought against real wrongs. He did. This is historic fact.

He was no more ruthless than many of the folks who fought against the British in the Revolution. If you disagree, you need to study a little deeper. I can provide sources, entire books in fact, for further study on the matter. Some of the now-idealized "patriots" were downright vicious, murderers and kidnappers. Fact. Many, if not most, would be shunned if not turned in by most Americans. See something, say something and all...

Che killed many people. Some armed, some not. He was a marxist. He fought against American interests. He was utterly ruthless, more concerned with winning than with being fair or "moral". His opponents were no less ruthless and "immoral". This is fact. Anti-marxist/anti-Che forces committed their share of atrocities too. Sure, he should not be idealized, and worshipped, neither should he be demonized and ignored. His opponents should not be whitewashed either.

I don't worship him. I likely would have killed or been killed by him.

I just think that there's more to learn from the man than some guerrilla tactics.

A "good" political movement must address real need and real injustices, or a "bad" one will.

We can call him names, many rightly deserved. To ignore and refuse to learn the lessons he can still teach to us, as a movement interested in "taking our country back", would be not only stupid, but insane.

Having said all that, I can not view blind people like Beckel who idolize and idealize Che in any different of a light than I can view those blind people who dismiss and demonize Che offhand.

Take care of the people, or they will turn on you.

I know my comment will be ill-received by many, but I cannot help telling the truth as I see it.

Your sidebar mentions what kight have happened had Ghandi encountered Japanese troops in India. That led me to wonder what might have happened had Mr. Beckel actualy met Ernesto "Che" Guevara. "Barney visits Jurassic Park" would be my guess.
