Fast and Furious: Obama’s Watergate

"Something far more sinister."

President Obama will face many obstacles in the looming 2012 elections. A stagnant economy, unpopular healthcare reform, a soaring deficit and an overall failure to achieve most of the things he promised during his campaign. Yet there is something far more sinister currently under the microscope of a congressional investigation. Indeed, something which has the potential to do far more damage to his besieged administration. This is Operation Fast and Furious, the latest in a long series of humiliating ATF failures that has resulted in the deaths of two federal agents and at least 150 shootings in Mexico.

I keep asking 'what did the president know and when did he know it?'.

No answers coming.

"Perhaps what many citizens find most disturbing is the way in which Obama and Holder used the escalating violence in Mexico to place further restrictions on the 2nd Amendment. Both men gave ominous public speeches, lamenting the thousands of violent deaths being inflicted upon the Mexican people and attributing much of it to American guns being funneled into Mexico. Naturally, they didn’t mention the fact that they were the ones funneling them there. They exploited the bloodshed which they were fueling to assert that further restrictions on the 2nd Amendment were necessary. Had the details of Fast and Furious never seen the light of day, we can assume that the dynamic duo would still be exploiting the chaos in an effort to -impose harsher limitations- on American’s right to bear arms".

Imposing Harsher Restrictions?
Infringing on the Right to.....
That's the proper term to use here.

These are my comments posted over at PAFOA.ORG:
I will say again, No one died as a result of Watergate. So this comparison is only relevant with respect to the cover-up aspects of F&F.

Though the parallels and the dichotomy of the two historical events is interesting. To wit:

Watergate was a small time burglary though the resulting cover up is what brought down the Nixon presidency....that and the fact that Nixon was and still is to this day hated by the left and the press. The press hounded Nixon over the Watergate mess. You could not pick up a paper or turn on the evening news for months without some mention of the break in. Nixon's legacy will forever be Watergate.

Contrast to this current administration. We see a massive scandal and subsequent cover up on the part of Obama and crew. Multiple deaths have been attributed to guns that were allowed to be walked into the hands of the Narco-traffickers. Obama is loved by the press and the left and we see scant coverage of the entire debacle.

The fourth estate in American politics is so demonstrably biased as to be not worthy of any level of trust. They can make or break you as a political candidate.

It is also interesting that it was Nixon's declaration of a War on Drugs that started the ball rolling and the militarization of civilian police.....and here we are some 40 years later and we may see that the arming of drug cartels through an unlawful scheme created by the likes of the Obama administration could be the downfall of yet another corrupt and dirty politician.

Somehow I see that as richly fitting.

Gunwalker will NOT be Obama's Watergate because the LSM WORSHIPS and ADORES Obama every bit as much as it LOATHED and ABOMINATED Nixon. Despite Gunwalker being worse than Teapot Dome, Watergate and Iran-Contra COMBINED, without the media to keep it out in view and in everyone's minds I greatly fear we may have seen the last effects (at least the last POSITIVE effects) of Gunwalker.

Get ready for the storm, people, it's coming.

In order for our ATF agents to coordinate with a foreign country (Mexico) isn't our Sec. of State involved? What about Hillary? Does her department share some of the blame?
