Obama's big gun control planning meeting.
Sam Stein describes just how deep into Gunwalker Scandal denial these Obamanoid bastards still are: Obama To Unveil Gun Control Reforms In Near Future.
WASHINGTON -- Half a year after the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), the Obama administration is set to release a series of reforms to the current gun law, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said on Thursday.
The reforms, which are being crafted by the Department of Justice, come after a series of meetings with relevant stakeholders in the Second Amendment debate. But in a nod to the difficulties of getting legislation through a Republican-run House of Representatives, only executive orders or administrative actions -- and not an actual bill -- are expected to be handed to Congress.
Administration officials were coy on the specifics, from the reforms the Department of Justice would recommend or when it would actually make those recommendations.
"The president directed the Attorney General to form working groups with key stakeholders to identify common sense measures that would improve American safety and security while fully respecting Second Amendment rights," Carney said at Thursday's briefing. "That process is well underway at the Department of Justice with stakeholders on all sides working through these complex issues and we expect to have more specific announcements in the near future."
Just how near? Carney would only say "not far in the future." Another administration official said weeks would be an appropriate measurement.
When the recommendations do come, it will represent the most comprehensive move on the gun control front from this administration to date. The president has largely punted on the issue since entering the White House, save issuing carefully worded reactions to Supreme Court rulings on local gun laws or bans.
The Giffords shooting had, seemingly, upped the pressure to implement reforms. Obama himself used the occasion to pen an op-ed for the Arizona Daily Star advocating for stronger state-to-state coordination with respect to gun data, expedited background checks and greater enforcement of the laws already on the books. The Department of Justice meetings commenced not too long later and have continued over the course of several months, according to an administration official. They are now finished.
The end result, one source close to the discussions said, was a package of reforms "not huge in scope." They are largely expected to mirror the topics covered in the president's op-ed. Gun control advocates have pushed for more, including legislation that would limit the size of magazines -- such as the 32-round clip that Giffords' shooter used -- or a bill that would force private sellers to conduct background checks at gun shows -- which was pushed in the wake of the Virginia Tech shooting.
Still, executive actions offer something that legislation doesn't: guaranteed results. And as one gun control advocate told the Huffington Post, there are ways to "use these administrative changes to obtain similar results."
Whatever these pukes come up with, as Three Percenters we are obliged to disobey, disrupt and confound it by any means necessary. So get off your asses, check your safeties and fix bayonets. The citizen disarmament collectivists are pushing again. Push back.

If we have to go to war to defend our God Given Inalienable Rights, then so be it. We will defend our Rights, no matter what.

All I know is where I will stand.
This is merely his reelection campaign at work.. He does not have the balls to try anything serious. All this is going to attempt is a feel good law that does not do anything....
Do we have to spell it out for Pete’s sake?
Let’s work backwards from what the Gun Grabbers would like to be their end game – namely “Grab Guns”
In order to do that they need several intermediate steps, these are:
A). A Database of gun owner information
B). Partial acquiescence from enough people on the government’s “Right” to control YOUR property – your guns.
Okay, so working in reverse order from confiscation, they will need to know who has the guns and what guns they have.
At some point along the line they would love to require you to beg them to let you have a gun and tax you for the privilege.
Well, the only way they can do this is to assert feral control over your ownership rights for guns. The only way they can do this is to require you to go through them to buy any kind of gun in any kind of situation.
In short, if they can make you beholden to them to buy or sell private property in the form of a firearm, they will have all by the short curlies.
This is their holly grail, their ball in the hoop, their frosting on their gun grabbing cake.
Because once they can control your access either way to buying or selling a gun.
“a bill that would force private sellers to conduct background checks at gun shows” (Or anywhere else for that matter)
They effectively will have a Database of gun owner information (i.e. registration) and the first step towards confiscation.
They are slowly bleeding us to death like the parasites that they are.
I say we go about this the opposite of the way we always have....after all, Einstein's definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
Why don't ALL gun owners just support complete gun control and full confiscation?
That ought to get the party started....and, it will make those of us who only want to protect their precious antiques and hunting firearms finally pick a side. If it's not ours....then we've lost nothing except another mindless slave.
We've gone about this all wrong for too long....we should be supporting a push towards a breaking point, not fighting it.
If they mean to make war on the people, let's give it to them.
Sean
Well, I ain't ready by half, but you go to war with what you got, not with what you want. Reckon it'll have to do.

"We will not comply."
History hath shewn that WE will, for the most part, comply with anything they put forth. We did nothing when the 1934 NFA act was passed. We did nothing when the 1968 GCA act was passed. We did nothing when the 1986 FOP act was passed. We did nothing when the ATF said on tape that they testify to 100% accuracy of the database even though they know it is a lie. We did nothing when Ruby Ridge happened. We did nothing when Lon Horiuchi and other agents got away with murder. We did nothing when many agents murdered Branch Davidians at Waco. We did nothing when Army veteran David Olofson was falsely charged and convicted.
I'm sure I've left many Tyranny's out. I still have to ask, how long are we going to do nothing? Please don't overlook the fact that I said we and not you. I need a pair just as much as anybody else.

"The president directed the Attorney General to form working groups with key stakeholders to identify common sense measures that would improve American safety and security while fully respecting Second Amendment rights,"
And who, pray tell, were these "key stakeholders"?
"Like flat-earth fanatics, Second Amendment Fanatics just don`t get it. The NRA`s Second Amendment is an empty cereal box in the market place of ideas." -- Sen. Charles Schumer
Was Chuckie Da Weasel perhaps one of them?
ARRRGGGHHH.
They trot the same old tired lines year after year 'common sense' gun laws: Hey helmke - which of the 25k or thereabouts gun laws currently on the books are NOT common sense enough for ya?
The 'gun show loophole' - in other words REQIUIRING someone to jump thru federal hoops in order to sell a piece of private property. What they never say on that is that a family member can then no longer transfer a firearm to another (grampa's shotgun). And if they can control it they can either tax it or take it.
John Smith @0744 - if you really believe that you are on the wrong forum............
Arctic P and anonymous Sean - perhaps you are indeed right and we need to push this to a crisis point - I wish there were a peaceful way though.
He will limit magazine capacity to 10 rounds...
He will eliminate all private transfers of firearms...
He will require and establish a federal ID for all ammunition purchases...
He will use executive fiat to supercede and bypass the second amendment and all existing state laws...
He will eliminate all forms of constitutional carry...
I hope I'm guessing wrong...
But I don't think I am.
"I REALLY don't think you want to do that!"
I heard this line many times in my childhood. Always spoken by my Daddy, and always when I was about to do something really stupid - like stick a butter-knife in an electric-socket.
Since I'm sure there's Plenty of you Federal SOBS lurking here, I would STRONGLY advise you to have a serious talk with your boss.
See, HE has little to worry about, all fat n happy up in his DC Mansion, playing golf and having parties (when he's not on vacation) as befits someone of his exalted stature.
YOU OTOH are going to be the ones expected to ENFORCE his tyrannical diktats -- at great risk of serious damage to your personal life and limb.
There ARE people in this country who have drawn certain personal "lines in the sand."
You can bet your LIFE that having some usurping wannabe tyrant dictating with a stroke of his mighty pen what congress doesn't dare do (and thus making it unmistakeably clear that the Constitution is well and truly DEAD) is going to be well over said "line" for MANY of them!
In fact, "betting your life" is EXACTLY what you are doing if you come to work after he gives his "orders."
No patriot WANTS to hurt anybody, but we won't stand idly by and watch while what little is left of our country is turned into a dictatorship.
The bottom line is that ir looks like The Won is about to write a few checks that YOUR ASS is going to have to cash.
You took an oath to support and defend the Constitution - not to enforce the unconstitutional orders of a would be tyrant.
Many thousands of us took the same oath, and we believe we're still bound by it. Many of us mean it when we say "not one more inch", and see what's being threatened as taking a country MILE.
I hope I'm wrong about this, but I don't think so!
If he does what we fear, it will be YOU who will suffer, not him.
Please take a stand before it is too late - refuse to enforce unconstitutional orders, especially any that come from the pen of a tyrant and not from the proper representatives of the people!
If nothing else, tell them YOU are not willing to get shot for his power trip and refuse to do it!
Are "we" really going to do anything?
I see an awful lot of unbroken windows. I see David Codrea begging on a daily basis to do nothing more than to share some links. I don't see any "III - We Are Everywhere" stickers (at least none that I didn't put there).
And, as usual, I see a lot of boasting in the Comments.

If he indeed does so, then it is time. My local "Law Enforcement" is in the middle of Operation Castaway. I have had enough.
They wont be happy until they create a firestorm that wont end, like the spoiled child playing with gasoline and matches, they always underestimate the danger of getting burned alive in the process.

Really? Do you remember reading from Solzhenitsyn "Oh, how we burned in the camps..." Look it up & act as your conscience dictates.
If it becomes dangerous for the PTB to go out and enforce his fiats, it will be difficult to staff such a mission. There are brave cops, but the us vs. them dichotomy says their number one priority is going home at the end of the shift. When that comes into doubt, the SWAT team assignment will no longer be the peachy keen job it has been for the last bunch of years.
If Jose Guerena had thought the SWAT team really was going to shoot him, don't you think he would have sent a couple ahead of him to Heaven or Hell or wherever?
They feel they can carry out part 2 of the plan, even after part 1 was exposed, because the majority of the press corps will cover for them, lie for them, and lie to us.
So each one teach one, because not many are going to learn about this horrible crime on TV or in the paper.
Declaring an executive order and enforcing it are two different things.
I can declare everyone should eat pizza on Fridays, but I sure as hell can't make people do it.
I know y'all are worried, but this looks like more empty suit posturing than any kind of actual threat. Chairman Zero's already got his hands full with the economy still in the crapper, the Gunwalker scandal like an inbound ICBM, and the fight over immigration.
Still, never hurts to pick up a little extra ammo...
Word Verification: ocantie. As in 'You can't own guns!' 'Oh, can't I?'
(I've written this about a dozen times now...I don't like unwanted attention, so I am trying to tone this down a bit...)
Tupac Shakur once said, " you better back the fuck up, before you get smacked the fuck up...".
The Feds better take this to heart.
Try and enforce any BS laws against the 2nd Amendment. Try it. You want to see the worst insurgency the world has ever seen? You want to see Iraq and Afghanistan on crack? All the "American" hasn't been bread out of all of us you know...
So either bring it already, or shut the fuck up.

Spot on!
In "The Influence of Sea Power Upon History", Adm. Mahan wrote of the concept of "a fleet in being". Think of the trouble the British went to to keep the French feet bottled up. In order to tie up an enormous amount of combat power the French fleet only had to exist and be credible as a combat force. One of the few times the Brits let them get out they got Yorktown as a result. A similar effect could be seen in how Gemany's "pocket battleships" like the Bismark, Graf Spee, and their sisters kept the British home fleet tied up in knots.
The best way to win the Second American Revolution is to avoid having one in the first place. One way to avoid it is to let the statists know in no uncertain terms that we are here, capable of creating more trouble than they would ever want to deal with, and willing to do so if sufficiently provoked.
To do that we have to become more visible. Not directly visible like Mike an others have done although that has a place in the over all scheme of things. But by doing things like placing stickers in public places as the above poster suggests. They have to know that we are here and in large but unknowable places and numbers.
We also have to be a credible threat. We have to know how to bloody them, and they have to know that we do. How to accomplish that without provoking the fight we all hope will never be necessary is a puzzle I haven't solved yet. Any ideas out there? Window war?
Even before the Dark Lord was elected, I said he would control weapons simply by drying up ammunition supplies. With this crew of his schemeing up ways to 'sensibly control firearms', that is one base they will certainly cover. Oh, sure- there will be smokscreens about 'mental retards not being allowed to purchase', or even a time restriction, but the base will be eliminateing the ammunition.
Stock up. Now... double your supplies if you can. Maybe even triple them, cuz soon enough, bullets will be illegal.

"Any ideas out there? Window war?"
Wow! I'm floored by the flood of suggestions.
Ladies & Gentlemen, we have but two choices. We can work to prove to The Statists that they are pushing us into a war we intend to win and thereby hopefully persuade them not to start one, or we can sit back and let it happen. I don't consider rolling over and letting them "rebuild America from the foundations up" a valid choice.
I'd rather not have to tell my grandchildren that my contribution was limited to service in "The First Keyboard Kommando". How 'bout you?
Yep, we wait because no one wants to be the 1st sacrifice for a cause, no matter how great.
We wait because the reality of crossing that line from speech to action can never be uncrossed.
We wait because doing so means that the system can never be fixed and there is no guarantee in acting that it will endure and in fact will likely be changed forever.
So we wait until we are forced to act, but every day that this govt does not heed the will of the people brings us one more day closer to one or the other being forced to act, one to enforce its tyranny or the other to relieve it of assumed power.
