Michelle Malkin -- "Project Gunrunner update: The fit hits the shan."

Michelle says in part:

I’ve been red-flagging this most explosive homeland security scandal for you for more than a month.

Independent citizen journalists, inside whistleblowers, and relentless GOP watchdogs on Capitol Hill led by GOP Rep. Darrell Issa and GOP Sen. Charles Grassley have kept up the pressure on the Obama administration to come clean on this deadly, stimulus-funded border nightmare.

And now, the fit is really starting to hit the shan on the Project Gunrunner story.

The latest?

Top DOJ officials have been nabbed in the drive to find out who exactly knew what and when.

Dutchman6 at Sipsey Street Irregulars called it early on. . .

As I’ve noted before, this goes far beyond the usual waste, fraud and abuse underwritten by progressive profligacy. It’s bloodstained government malfeasance overseen by anti-gun ideologues.

Through continued, unified grilling and demands for disclosure, those security-undermining zealots are being smoked out.

They can run away from Gunrunner, but they cannot hide.

Oh come on, this operation Gun Walker was all about getting gun tracers back to US gun stores. Once that happen a need for new laws would be pushed that would outlaw a lot of firearms that Americans currently own and enjoy lawfully today. This operation was nothing short of willful "treason" to attack the United States Constitution, the Second Amendment to be exact. Taking away Constitutional rights of millions of American citizens.
The American people are going to get to see if our elected lawmakers will safeguard our Constitution and demand justice be served for people whom have been entrusted with power within our government. About those within our government that have committed "treason" against this country for their collective anti-american agenda. This "treasonous" conduct is so far over the top that if the people involved are not brought to justice. All Americans will see there are two systems of justice. One for the elitist within our government and one for the average American.
So the bottom line is: Do the American people have a government that represents them or is Washington DC one big, Dog and Pony show that mocks the American people? That question is simple and truthful and is a straight up or down question, yes or no.

Why are the Mexicans leaving this alone? Is there no US network or BBC reporting done from Cartel-controlled Mexico? What about Mexican Federal Radio blasting a couple megaWatts of the Southern Perspective into the Los Angeles/SoCal market (to Vancouver BC at night!) in the middle of the AM dial en Anglais?

Delivering military-style weapons and other support in quantity to an insurgency (these are not "criminals") in another country is not "a mistake", it's an act of war against a sitting government.

What goes around, comes around.

Cheers.

Michelle Malkin is a tenacious foe.

I sincerely believe she will use all her journalistic skills in holding the DOJ gunwalkers' feet to the fire until the guilty parties have been exposed, identified and punished.

I gotta say... Malkin makes most men I know look like little boys with cap guns. She's got smack-down on loan from God.

She even manages to give you an air of respectability, Mike. ;c)

Now, let's see if we can get Al CO2 tax Gore to hold his breath waiting for this to actually really blow up in the MSM like Watergate did. I reckon they will (more's the pitty in Al's case) eventually have no choice. If NPR has the scent, and CNN is even tepidly covering it (though sit downs with master of Geo Strategy Pres. Carter are more pressing), perhaps wabbit... perhaps...
