Dave Workman: Indictment in Terry slaying, Issa issues statement.

Nice try on slowing down the investigation.

In a statement issued Friday, Rep. Issa remained critical of the Justice Department:

“The announcement of an indictment against Manuel Osorio-Arellanes for the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry is certainly good news, but leaves critical questions unanswered. The Justice Department still hasn’t said how and why guns purportedly being tracked and monitored by federal law enforcement officials as part of Operation Fast and Furious ended up in the hands of Agent Terry’s killers. It angers me to think that this death might not have occurred had it not been for reckless decisions made by officials at the Department of Justice who authorized and supported an operation that knowingly put guns in the hands of criminals. For these officials to imagine that this operation would result in anything other than a tragic outcome was naive and negligent. Sen. Charles Grassley and I continue to demand accountability as we investigate this matter.”

The refusal of the DOJ and BATFE to comply with lawful demands to produce evidence combined with their complicity in the murder of federal agents and others shows the extremes that our Domestic Enemies in the present administration and our civil service infrastructure will go to perpetrate their demands of civilian disarmament in violation of the law by creating false data intended to generate statistics supporting their illegal agenda..

If they will resort to murdering federal agents by proxy what will the do to citizens who oppose their treason if left unchecked.

IOW, "Oops! So we made a mistake or two. Now we're gonna hang the scum that killed our officer. Can't we all just get along? C'mon, Issa, cut us some slack."

It's all gonna be white-washed, and some wet-back is gonna take the fall.

I disagree. The implementation and execution of GUNRUNNER was not to track weapons to unknown cartel personnel etc, etc. etc

The purpose of GUNRUNNER was to further undermine the second amendment with respect to long arms and additional control measures by making it possible to inflate statistics which would validate their opinions and desires. Create the problem and then solve the problem by doing what you really wanted to do all along.

The "news" media, went right along with it, promoting it at every opportunity with the apparent exception of CBS. I still have unanswered question about that. I have no such questions regarding the intentions of the federal government in this matter.

They mean to accomplish this by any means at their command and the Constitution and Bill of Rights be damned. And their courts will up hold all of it, making of you, a slave. This was not done fairly so you may feel no sense of obligation to any of them, they do not feel any towards you, nor this country. They would clearly make of her what they want and not keep her as she has always been and they push us down that Marxists road, to a conclusion we have seen before.

Very well stated, anonymous @ 12:20

Here in PA I have been posting links to this story from early on. The PAFOA.ORG is the Commonwealth's premier gun forum. The thread for this topic is now 27 pages. Sadly, it seems to be of little interest to many who visit the site regularly.

Wake up America!

Issa is providing them cover:

"For these officials to imagine that this operation would result in anything other than a tragic outcome was naive and negligent."

The people who did this are vicious and evil bastards.

Issa is essentially saying "Oh, I'm sure they're all a bunch of good guys who meant well and wanted to do the right thing. We must help to bring them into the light and mend the error of their ways..."

It sickens me.

An old marching cadence went,

Here we go again
Same old shit again
Marching down the avenue...

Yes, Issa, Grassley, Congres and "we the people" will cut them some slack. Actually, they and we will do nothing about this and the ATF will continue to grow and continue its criminal ways. They know they have nothing to fear.

Longbow III, you should go back and look at some of my posts about "gun walker." Some may be here but more will be at KABA. I predicted the outcome of this. Actually, it was no difficult. All it requires is to look at the history of the criminals in Congress and the cowardice of we the people. As always, I include myself in the cowardice.

I wonder how much time and effort the naysayers have spent doing anything but telling people in comments why this is all futile?
