I remember that ad during the campaign. It was them as their Mayberry characters touting "change". The ad is now nowhere to be found even on YouTube.

Andy and Opie are just another couple of Hollywood liberals. They have money to burn so these confiscatory socialist policies won't affect them. In the case of Andy, I would imagine the old coot is senile. Read the WRSA piece about this old fool.

Andy and Opie are both sell-outs. I haven't liked Andy Griffith ever since I saw the movie "A Face in the Crowd", which I think was a true representation of the real man. I don't think he was acting much.
