I got the same thing Friday, filtered by websense. It let me in to some of the direct links to articles, but blocked the main page.

Our globalist oligarch bankster god-kings are fearful that the United States Marines, whose knees will never bend, might learn the truth concerning the actual state of their nation, and the true nature of those issuing the orders. It's still good: site comes up fine.

Better banned than scanned and having all your users tracked, but they're probably doing that, too.

I heard Jerry Rubin give a speech once in which he made a bunch of self-aggrandizing claims & ran his yap for an hour or so.

One thing I took home from his speech was a comment he made on the Nixon White House's perception of the anti-war movement "They were scared to death, man!"

If Nixon and his bunch were scared of a bunch of wimpy-ass hippies, most of whom couldn't or wouldn't pick up a gun if it fell from the sky, and who'd have no clue how to use it, the Obama crew must be really afraid of a bunch of vets who want to run the United States of America under the Constitution of the United States of America.

The night wasn't entirely wasted. I pied him. Pistachio mint, if memory serves.

We've always been blocked in my office. Anything from blog spot is auto banned on our fed computers. We have to switch over to the state side to access them.

Gee - I bet they can still access the gay porn sites, Hollywood/ New York communist sites and sites devoted to photos of George 'Syph Lesion" Soros' gigantic arsehole.
DOD? FU!

They're just protecting the impressionable collectivist virgin minds at the DoD from dangerous ideas, ya know.

Maybe you need a "mirror" site...named something very innocuous. How about something like "Recipes for Greatness"...or "Summer Picnics" or something equally inane...

Blocked from Dod, that's a badge of honor....

Yeah I got banned from a so called "Conservative Patriotic Forum" because I would not stop posting your stuff. Guess some people don't believe that the 1st Amendment is the beginning of freedom.

Oh my gosh why did they do that? Would anyone have expected any different, hope not.

Congratulations! They even ban small documentary sites like mine which have few visitors. Just amazing.

"FYI...the Army blocks NamSouth (and in the months to come, I expect much more will get spiked) - are you surprised? Oddly, the Air Force did not block it, even though they tend to be more rigid in their application of Internet regulations."

Also, from someone who has lived under Communism.
"I don't know what's coming next. I might take a good guess. They, call them socialists, communist, whatever, are masters of psychology. It's really scary how they can calculate your reactions. It's like in Orwell's 1984. You aren't in danger, because the point is to target children at a very young age,and bring them up to be non-thinkers. It takes a generation or two. In my country it's easy to manipulate people. They are used to being told what to think. It's amazing that they play the same tricks again and again, and people buy it each time. We, the few, just stand there helpless and can't believe it. I don't know who said it, but it was in connection with the Hungarians, that 'take away their past and you can conquer them'.
--------
"Have you ever been to the South? My grandfather was from Beckov, Slovakia (formerly of Czechoslovakia). He and his family moved to the United States when he was 10 yrs. old in 1927. During that time, the communists who took over Russia in 1917 were starting to seep into Czech. That is the reason they left. He always loved to talk about Czechoslovakia and I know he wanted to go back very badly, but he did not while communists were in control. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1988, just a year before 1989 and the wall came down.

I am very sad to say that, Hedi, communism is definitely making a foothold in this country and has been for many years. They are doing it slowly, bit by bit. We are the frog in the pot of water that is being heated very slowly. Before we know it it will be too late. I have read the Gulag Archipelago several times and each time I read it, I am horrified at how much closer to communism we are getting."

Brock,
Communism hates all basic human freedom rights, since only the freedom can expose all flaws of the Communists. If one made a decision without considering a rational argument that is based on freedom rights, he or she could be a Communist.

Sorry to hear this, Mike.

It's not banned on my computers, so I'll be around and spreading the word. Keep your powder dry.

I predict that the Dod's banning of this website will actually cause more Dod employees and military members to check it out on their personal computers. That's the way if worked when I was in service and they banned anything.

What a bunch of dipsheetz!

Congratulations, Mike. You can be proud of the hard work you've done to achieve this milestone.

I must, in honesty, admit to a certain amount of envy, and, yes, embarrassment. Not only did I not make the SPLC's enemies list, but I'm not banned from DoD computers either. I can only redouble my efforts, and hope that my diligence is recognized.

Military personnell are still able to access it on non .gov computers, such as off base. The fact that it's now banned should just create more curiosity and drive more military readers.

I assumed my COC was reigning me in about this a few weeks ago.

Let the DoD and the rest of the aforementionbed losers and ne'er-do-wells ban this site. They won't stop their people from reading it.

And besides, the case can be made that this blog is for a completely different readership to begin with. That readership won't be denied, and if push ever comes to shove in this country, the DoD will figure out on that day that their employees' reading this blog should have been the least of their worries.

As of today, you're also banned from my company's computers. Tried to take a peak and lunch and the site was blocked.

I haven't been able to see a .blogspot blog for about 3 yrs now. The filter says something about 'bogs/personal pages' and that my web activity is being 'monitored'.

If the site is blocked, you should still be able to read it via an RSS reader like Google Reader, or through Google cache. What are they going to do, block Google?

Swim at your own risk, though, as you might not want to run afoul of a career-minded, bootlicking CO who fancies himself as the next Wesley Clark.
