Princeton IL gun parts maker growing past 350 employees

"L.W. Schneider in Princeton is an anomaly in the business world. The manufacturer strives to maintain a low profile and keep the family-run business a well-kept secret. For 40 years, Lloyd and Bev Schneider have helmed the company that has become one of the largest manufacturers of commercial and military rifle components in the United States."

I read the article without a subscription...

This makes me smile. Just another confirmation that Obama is the greatest gun salesman of all time.

I wish they weren't giving their tax dollars to the state of IL.

I may have just missed it, but I didn't see a name for the company.

Came up for me. Interesting article. No idea how they manage to stay in business - Illinois being so "gun friendly" and having to pay union wages and all - but I applaud their industry.

You'll notice that Princeton is not a slumburg of Shitcago. It's rural and small; they actually have real Americans still living in Illinois much to the surprise of almost everyone. Illinois suffers from the same disease that all big states do; there are more braindead liberals in the big cities (easy access to freebies) than citizens in the rural areas. Examples: Colorado, Texas, Missouri, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, New York etc. But that's OK, cause when the SHTF you only have to close off the roads to these crap holes and let nature take it's course.
