How about Maryland and Virginia in January?

The other day I indicated that I was planning my itinerary for the first quarter of 2015. There may be a possibility of my attending this event on Monday the 19th of January. If that happens, I might be able to drive up on Friday to Richmond, then make a lightning trip into Maryland on the weekend for some meet-n-greets, talking treason to the empire and/or gratuitous nose-thumbing at the O'Malley legacy of petit tyranny. Any ideas? Email me if you do.

Come on up; I am planning to attend the same event. I have not seen you since we met, in Virginia, back on May 19.

We had an election in Maryland a month and a half ago, and tossed the O'Malley-stooge-democrat lieutenant governor out on his ass. We elected a Dead Elephant Party guy for only the second time in 40-some years.

We coulda used some help back before the election - that woulda been appreciated.

I'm not sure what coming up here will accomplish now though. We already did the heavy-lifting.

Well, okay. If y'all got it covered. It's not like I lack for other stuff to do.

Be great to meet you if you come up VA way, talk some patriot talk and take you out to lunch somewhere. Shame this event wasn't a little later - there's a killer gun show in Richmond at the raceway Jan 31-Feb 1st, it's always a huge event.

I continue to be amused by those who call a party that will soon enjoy its largest majority since 1932 as "dead".

How about one of the Indy 1500 shows?

Health permitting (I'm prone to acute bronchitis attacks this time of year) I'll be in Richmond on the 19th. With one exception (yes, bronchitis), I've gone every year since joining VCDL in 2009.

Heavy lifting all done? You got a Republican who supports the Democrat gun control platform....sounds like you still have heavy lifting to do....unless you're ok with gun control as long as a 'Republican' is in office.

That's some impressive heavy lifting!

Mike, we'd be happy to have you. There is always a group of great people that meet for Lobby Day.

My favorite bit: Concealed carry is legal at the state house. You go thru the metal detector, it beeps, you show your pistol and they wave you in. Priceless. It's like being in America or something.

We would love to have you at the Hillsville, VA Gun Show next Labor Day. It draws between 500-700K annually. You can probably team up with VCDL to go on a massive membership drive that weekend. It is the premier state non-profit 2A org, bar none. No one comes close. I know a couple of (wait for it) citizen militia groups in that area that can probably help do the ground work for you. If you team up with Dr Edwin Vieira, that would be a bonus.

ExGeeEye- check back in a few years when the Chamber of Commerce RINOs ensure millions of illegal aliens get registered as Democrats.

The Maryland LEOs have some inside scoop on which out-of-state drivers hold out-of-state CHLs, are pulling them over and tossing their cars in search of "illegal-in-Maryland" firearms.

Maryland is on my "Shall not visit or even drive through" list. Watch out Mike. They will be waiting for ya.

Crap! I'm going to miss VCDL lobby day on the 19th! Chemo/Radiation on the schedule... Much rather be harassing politicians in Richmond! Watching the "crap or go blind" look in the anti's eyes when they see hundreds (and more) of bright orange "Guns Save Lives" stickers (and openly carried sidearms) is worth ever minute of travel!

Mike, we would love to have you in Richmond. Please make an effort to come out - I'd like to meet you and shake your hand.

Oh, and don't let the one commenter from MD spoil things for all the other oppressed gun owners in MD. MD has always been a difficult state for us, and now it's worse than ever. Your recent post on MD LEOs using license plate cameras to ID CCW holders from out of state and harass them is only one example.
