"What in the actual f--k is this?" Marking the 70th Anniversary of D-Day with . . . "interpretive dance"?

D-Day Interpretive Dance Caps Off Month of Disrespect for Vets.
Reminiscent of Olympic opening ceremonies, hundreds of performers descended on the beach where they gesticulated and gyrated in fashions supposedly evocative of the struggles endured by those soldiers who slogged across the battlefields of Europe. Playing the role of Meredith Vieira was NBC’s Todd, who helpfully explained to the audience that this or the other spasmodic display was actually representative of the 1943 invasion of Sicily or the French resistance movement. Who’d have guessed?
The veteran of two wars who forwarded this to me entitled it in frustrated rage with a soldier's blunt language: "What in the actual f--k is this?" He then commented, answering his own question, that it was more proof of the complete disconnect between the Mandarin class, the sheep and the praetorians that they count upon to guard them.
What I wonder is what in the world the veterans sitting in stands thought of this foppish PC bushwah? Old Vladimir Putin, sitting there on the dais, must have thought to himself, "Oхуеть! No wonder I'm getting over on these effeminate esthetes."
It sure wasn't a Ronald Reagan ‘Boys of Pointe Du Hoc’ moment. I can never watch this without tears.
