An ATF agent hiding evidence that led to a wrongful conviction? Surely not.
Well, maybe, probably, well, yeah, but so what? They do it all the time. "Woman wrongly convicted of arson and murder lectures IU law students."
Kristine Bunch's case took a turn in 2012 after attorneys at the Innocence Project at Northwestern University uncovered a troubling ATF report that ultimately led to her freedom. That report revealed Indiana State Fire Marshal investigators got it wrong. They accused Kristine of pouring an accelerant on the floor and setting her mobile home on fire. The problem: ATF found no evidence of an accelerant. That report was kept secret by investigators.

Is anyone surprised that government officials would lie?
At this point, if a government official utters a statement, is is assumed that they are lying. The higher the official, the larger the lie. Up to the top govt. official that has not told the truth since he claimed that our energy costs would skyrocket.
Someone sitting in jail because a fn cop lied. Sounds like a life penalty could apply. It would in a just world.
Talk about a long train of abuses; the ATF has provided more reasons for revolution than the British did in the 1770's.
It's not JUST the ATF. There are numerous cases where exculpatory evidence is being withheld. It's gotten to the point where I can't support the death penalty -- not because I disapprove of it morally, but because I cannot in good conscience trust the judiciary to do its job with honesty and integrity.
Frog (dieing): "Why did you do that?
Scorpion (drowning): "I'm a scorpion. It's what we do."
I have no doubt that the REST of the BATFE Agents in this country have shown they are honorable men and women, and are refusing to work with this swill. Just as they have undoubtedly done to BATFE Agent Hope McAllister from their Phoenix Field Division for calling Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's murder "collateral damage" on the audio recording released by the BATFE IG...
The interesting thing about the BATF is that they are NOT an agency of the federal Gov't as we would think one to be. They are in some kind of fictional area (like the IRS) that is run by the international bankers, through a trust and totally outside of our constitution. There's a lot of info on the web about this, some from the famed Bill Cooper, but it's not a light read. It's intentionally confusing to keep us all from knowing which way is up but one thing I'm convinced of; they are paid through the IMF, just like U.S. district judges, U.S. attorneys and the u.S. Marshals. It's always referred to as "The Fund", never the "IMF". There is a great book that deals with this in a couple of it's chapters called "The Global Sovereigns Handbook" and it has been put up on the web for reading, but again, it's a really, REALLY long read.
