Years ago, while attending a day-long meeting at a Tampa hotel, I was about to reenter the meeting room after a break. A woman and I reached the door at the same time. I nodded, smiled, and opened the door for her. She returned a look colder than the last Ice Age.
After the meeting I headed for the parking garage. The same woman I'd tried to extend courtesy to earlier was standing alongside a car with a flat tire. She turned on the charm and said, "I appear to have a problem."
My reply, before entering my truck and driving away, was a nod, a smile, and the comment, "Good observation."
Feminists have no use for men until they need one.

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible.
