Sharyl Attkisson resigns from CBS News

CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson has reached an agreement to resign from CBS News ahead of contract, bringing an end to months of hard-fought negotiations, sources familiar with her departure told POLITICO on Monday. Attkisson, who has been with CBS News for two decades, had grown frustrated with what she saw as the network's liberal bias, an outsized influence by the network's corporate partners and a lack of dedication to investigative reporting, several sources said. She increasingly felt like her work was no longer supported and that it was a struggle to get her reporting on air.

The first big move to the Blaze is in motion.
As Fox rose as an alternative to the horrible media in this country so too now will the Blaze rise - in spite of Fox.
And that's because the truth always finds a way to work its way out.

Good luck to her as she blazes the trail.

Fox is a shill for Establishment Republicans

The Blaze is run by Glenn Beck, who claims to be libertarian but supports the "War on terror."

Alex Jones is a pro-Russia propagandist.

Joining any media organization is a deal with the devil. I hope she finds a way to go independent.

Fox has more money. And Ailes isn't stupid enough not to make her an offer. I remember when she was one of the reporters on our local CBS affiliate. I think she was about 23 years old and hot as hot could be. Felt bad when she left as she was the only hot info babe on that channel. She has done well. Smart and gutsy.

Maybe she'll be offered a job with Greenwald at the newest media organization on the net..the Intercept..

https://firstlook.org/theintercept/

Home of the latest Snowden revelations and other high profile issues. She would do well there..except there is no video coverage..yet.

I will be sad to see her go, as it seemed she was the last honest voice in commercial media.

I will definitely be buying her book. I expect it will be a worthwhile read.

I fully support the war against terrorists.
That being defined as those who intentionally target innocent citizens with intent to impose political will opposite declared constitution.

Please note - terrorists exist from within the House of Saud, to Wall Street to Pennsylvania Avenue.

Seems to me some are so busy trying to be contrarian that they have forgotten their base principals.
