What legacy will you leave behind for your family if you are the sole reason a new American Revolution breaks out? How could you even think about putting your officers in a position where they could be harmed, harm others, and be part of a small group that incited a war? Their names will be in history books for all children to read in the future. How will their children face the people of their communities when they find out the truth of your involvement? Why would any peace officer do the bidding of corrupt politicians?

You could lead your officers to the state capital and remove all traitors. You and your officers would still have your jobs, paychecks, pensions, and you all would be heroes. You could start this in CT and it would spread to every state capital where the politicians are advocating taking away every right they can from the American citizens. It could be accomplished peacefully by local and state police forces, as well as militias, then moving onto DC.

Politicians are just people who come and go, bringing ideas to their jobs, which may not sit well with the populace. When they leave their jobs, their actions, good or bad, stay behind. Those actions can be changed. They are just people - not gods.

Please consider carefully, as the lives of millions of Americans may be affected by your decision.; March 1, 2014 at 6:10 AM
