Sounds like the Three Percent is active in CT. "How many owners of military-style rifles didn’t register their weapons, thereby becoming criminals as of Wednesday? And what will state officials do about it?"

CT Rifle Registration: Upward Of 30,000 Gun Owners And Counting
As the deadline for gun-owners arrived Tuesday, upward of 30,000 Connecticut residents declared that they own at least one assault weapon and registrations were still arriving in the mail.
The big question looking forward, which we’ll never be able to answer, is this: How many owners of military-style rifles didn’t register their weapons, thereby becoming criminals as of Wednesday? And what will state officials do about it?
State officials estimated 25,000 people registered as of Friday, and since then, thousands more came in by mail and in person at State Police headquarters in Middletown. Many owned just one firearm, said Lt. Paul Vance, state police spokesman. But, he said, “There are some who have many assault weapons.”
Separately, as of Friday, 17,000 people had registered magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, with many more coming in — and some declaring dozens of magazines.
A final count of all registrations won’t be available for several days, Vance said.
The numbers have been a mystery even to people watching the process closely. Some estimates circulating in the state Capitol last spring had more than 100,000 assault weapons in Connecticut, perhaps as many as 250,000, under the broader definition established by the law that Gov. Dannel P. Malloy signed April 4.

So now those who have not registered can claim 5th Amendment protection against self-incrimination when asked - "Where is it?"

Those stupid enough to register can now have firearms confiscated at the gun grabbers whim. Those who did not are now under the protection of the 2nd; 5th and 14th Amendments ...

Result!

Oh, what a shame... all those other guns must have been lost in boating accidents or something..

heh heh...

And do they really think anyone is still impressed when they use the bogus term "assault rifles" over and over again?

Fools.

So... 30,000 sheep.

We raise sheep on the farm, and I know exactly where they end up... (Mutton is delicious!)

Sooner or later, they'll have to give up those weapons.

You can bet on it.

If I could peer into a crystal ball what I'd like to see:

Those who didn't register their weapons because they didn't know about the new law, and those who didn't register their weapons and they DID know about the new law.

Chicago pulled the "register them or else" crap.
Then, their little registers was "eliminated" as a result of state level gun control legislation.

Those who complied now feel stupid because they know that "list " still exists somewhere and those who refused to comply aren't on it - but they sure are!

Many here in Illinois are clamoring like that to beg for permission to carry. Sad fools begging to give government money fingerprints and happily trading away some rights to gain permission to exercise another....... Idiots. Baaaaah. Baaaaah.

I wouldn't get too exercised about some silly laws. Most people ignore them:

"The high water mark of American compliance with gun control laws may have come with Illinois’s handgun registration law in the 1970s. About 25 percent of handgun owners actually complied, according to Don B. Kates, a criminologist and civil liberties attorney, writing in the December 1977 issue of Inquiry."

Just because some people have complied, does not mean they have complied with ALL their guns. In fact a fairly rational response, for those who like to shoot a lot at ranges, would be to comply with just that weapon.

The bright side of gun registration laws is that it gives people practice in disobedience.

The 'registration' of all semi-automatics appears to be part of the UN Small Arms Agreement that the government is knee-deep in 'negotiating' on our behalf.

Much of what is happening in the US is in the same vein. UN disarmament 'experts' want ALL semis out of civilian hands by 2020 as I understand it from overseas information.

The worldwide 'plan' is being implemented.

I refuse to comply. Period.

To Hell with the criminals!

The goal is to enforce responsible ownership

Good luck with that ...

I'd wager the compliance rate will be in the low-teens.
