Organized looting courtesy of the government of Venezuela.

Venezuelan military seizes major retail chain
"This is for the good of the nation," Maduro said. "Leave nothing on the shelves, nothing in the warehouses … Let nothing remain in stock!" The president was accompanied on television by images of officials checking prices of 32-inch plasma televisions. Daka's store managers, according to Maduro, have been arrested and are being held by the country's security services. Neither Daka nor the government responded to requests for comment.

Collectivists like big screen plasma televisions. All "for the people".

So the stores sell out all the goods on the shelf below cost per government decree. Has anyone in that government guessed where the restock supply comes from when the store cannot pay for it because you sold your current stock for less than cost?

If you own a dairy cow, what do you prefer to hear - free milk for everyone, or free hamburger for everyone? If you do not own the cow, do you care which one until next week, when you want milk again?

All governments loot. Ours is no different.
