Chicago Sun-Times lobbies for 'Run and Hide' law

A society that prohibits decent people from standing their ground, a society in which they must retreat from predatory thugs, is a society in which the thugs rule, where bullying and intimidation are legally protected "rights," to be enforced by the government's own bullying thugs. Americans must not shrink from standing their ground against all such creatures, in government and out.

Interesting..present this as cognitive dissonance, what with all the official blather about "bulling", restate our argument as "stand your ground" in an anti bulling context.

Just because those pussies want to run and hide they think everyone else must be forced to do so as well. Why? Well , so they feel better about being pussies! If everyone is forced to run and hide then they will feel. "Normal".

Interesting dichotomy there - the pussies are the bullies.
Wait till the war of words shuts down and the altercation leaves the first amendment arena and enters the second.....

Fit we fast approach that "fundamental transformation ".

Let's see now. Do we prefer what this newspaper considers "unnecessary shootings", or unnecessary deaths and severe injuries to those doing those so-called "unnecessary shootings"?

Instead of "Stand Your Ground", should we promote "Take Your Beating and Possible Death" with force of law because some newspaper thinks that is a better idea? I do not think so.

Each citizen that is assaulted has the same rights as a police officer that is assaulted, and should have the same reactions to the assault.
