20th Anniversary of "Blackhawk Down."

Remember this day MSG Gary Gordon and SFC Randy Shughart and all the other operators, pilots and Rangers who died fighting, with inadequate means against overwhelming odds, executing a plan doomed to failure for an administration that didn't give a damn if they lived or died.

Clinton ran from them then and Barry runs WITH them now.

Anonymous said...: Thinking about this event a few days ago and became disgusted by the eventual actions of Durrant during his tenure in congress and concluded that MSG Gordon and SFC Shughart died for naught. Though I hate to imply any dishonor for their memories and the valor of their actions since we frail humans cannot see the future.

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can't be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won't be done.
