Well, if you have 20 copies, you could pass one on to me. I don't have a 3D printer - yet. As for the DEFCAD takedown, see todays DBD cartoon. As usual, hits the nail square on the head.
As to where to download the files, a friend told me they're hosted at thepiratebay.se, search for defcad. He strongly recommended using a proxy server to do this.
I missed downloading the files while they were up . But have a feeling if I look around I will be able to find them .
Now I have to wonder . I believe the site shutdown was based on ITAR . But , if people give copies on disk to others , doesn't that fall outside of ITAR? Since you are not importing/exporting , how does it cover that?

Where can we download them? I tried from the original and it was gone already.

Glad to hear it. I see FGIM in Kalispell pulled his mirror link. Where's my cat-outta-the-bag cartoon when I need it?

I would suggest loading them on a mirror server that is somewhere off shore like Iceland. That way, they cannot shut it down.

I too would like a copy of the files. I don't have the 3d printer either but it never hurts to have the information for later.
