Waking the dragon — How Feinstein fiddled while America burned

"Gun people don’t trust anti-gun people because in a single breath they tell us that the Second Amendment is irrelevant today and should be repealed because semi-automatic weapons didn’t exist when the Bill of Rights was written, then turn around and say the First Amendment protects radio, television, movies, video games, the Internet, domain names, Facebook and Twitter."

Money shot from Heller - "The Secind Amendment is no different."

While Heller contains some foolishness, while the Doctrine of Selective Incorporation is a contrivance in and of itself, there are crystal clear boundaries the grabbers are refusing to see. Above is one example. Another is eradication of "certain policy positions" being "necessarily removed from the table of debate" and better yet "enumeration of a right removes from the hands of government -even the third branch- the power to decide on a case by case basis whether a right is really worth insisting upon". (May issue is absolutely toast).

I believe there is the destruction of the full auto ban within as well also. It is not permissible to ban an entire CLASS of arms - notice that automatics are referred to as CLASS THREE. Set that beside the fact that arms useful for military purpose are exactly what IS protected.

While media elites ignore the reality that Heller obliterated 95 percent of their arguments, obliterated they are none the less.

Media is going to have to accept now that every protection they argue for the First now has to apply to the Second as well. It's called Strict Scrutiny. Likewise, every restriction the bastards opine for the Second has to apply to the First as well. No doubt they are having trouble accepting that but with a few little words, like the amendment itself ironically, Scalia set the standard of scrutiny required. NO DIFFERENT.

Powerful stuff.

Pretty good for a college student. Not what I'd expect to see from a history major at a public university.

This has just been added to my list of must-read articles for everyone who visits my website. It sums up perfectly the whole relationship between lefty anti-gun libtards and those of us who refuse to be victims, insist on personal self-sufficiency and accountability, and assert their citizenship rather than submit to being (disarmed) subjects.

Thanks for posting this; it was well worth the time to read!!

Just read a bit linked off drudge where a CNN anchor had her apple IPhone snatched out of her hand while talking on it as she walked down the street. She's "angry" and tells people the lesson she learned - she now knows not to talk on her phone while walking down the street and reminds people not to try to fight back - just let the thief tale your property without resisting.

That's the thing about progressive fools - they cannot see their idiocy or their lies. We wonder sometimes how they can lie so easily and often. Well, they really believe they tell the truth!

This lady was robbed and she's mad! MAD AT HERSELF! She isn't mad at the thief. No she's mad at herself for daring to use her own property and tempting the crime. Blame goes to her - in her mind. And she's just "sad" for the robber. Pure, unadulterated puke!

I no longer mistrust them. I despise them and their intentional backwardness- most especially their attempts to foist that mindless idiocy upon the rest of us.

"This guy is dangerous because he buys the current interpretation of the 2nd Amendment that gun possession is a RIGHT, rather than a PRIVILEGE. "

Comments like that really amuse me . ( from CSGV facebook)

Perhaps we can take thier voting "priveledge" away . Or perhaps their free speech "priveledge" .

I can hear the wailing now
