I have to believe that this is a very winnable lawsuit. The government does not have a very good tract record when it comes to tramping on free speech issues. The only problem I see is the money necessary to pursue the lawsuit. I love to see offending agencies kicked in the balls.

After the animals have left the barn, left the farm, left the county, and dispersed themselves world-wide, our ever-tyrannically- vigilant govt comes along to point a gun at the farmer and demand he close the barn door.

The take away? This shows how incompetent and immersed in their own bullshit these bozos really are. Yes, they are tyrants but they are really stupid tyrants. This makes me feel better, if nothing else.

The Serenity fans are using the "You can't stop the signal!" quote from that movie:

I have a Q: Why the panic in DC? Why NOW? What has the government done that is so horrid that they MUST confiscate ALL weapons in civilian hands NOW? Why do the "Royals" fear the "serfs" if "they" have an all powerful military and secret police?

Gubmint, bend over and kiss my Red, White & Blue AMERICAN ASS. If I want to download something, I WILL. If I want to PRINT SOMETHING, I WILL. This want/desire to ban something is a symptom of PARANOIA. I Love my Country but I am beginning to Fear my Government.

Too late - the blueprints are everywhere!

http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/world/17094409/3d-gun-schematics-downloaded-more-than-100-000-times/

Blueprints for what's being called the world's first 3D-printed handgun have been downloaded more than 100,000 times since the controversial files were published online earlier this week, developers say.

Well regardless, they cannot unring this bell...these files are already in the hands/computers of too many patriots, who by the way, are more than happy to pass them along to anyone who didnt get a copy yet.
