Oops. Amateur bomb maker blows his own fingers off.

Police say they don't believe that Minyard had any plan to attack any person or target. They say he told them he was building them for recreation, and to prove a point. "He was an underachiever in school, never finished, and he wanted to show he had some sort of capacity to do that," Newman said.

So why isn't this covered under the Second Ammendment?
You can't even buy a half decent chemistry set anymore, without being labelled a bomb or drug maker.
Why is the gun industry the only one specially protected by the constitution (OK, only, besides ministers, journalists, and politicians).

More perplexing headlines:

"Saudi Muslim Student Hospitalized in Boston with Gunpowder Burns, Officials have no comment on his expired visa status or contact with marathon bombers and US federal handlers"

Profiling works.

In other words, this guy fails at failing. If he weren't trying to be criminal, I'd pity the fool.

Well....it doesn't speak well for the neighborhood when you have a bumbling bomb maker who blows his own fingers off and a neighbor that can't use the word "embellishment" properly in a sentence.

Hey, but at least he was trying to sound smart, LOL.
