Wrong. America was founded because the people predominately feared God, and the LORD honored that respect. The colonists at that time believed that it was the LORD that would make them a nation. They believed the truth of the following statement: "We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions,..."
If you think that this country will be made free again without its people honoring the LORD God, you are sadly mistaken. America is under judgment, and until she repents, that judgment will not be lifted. A civil war, which is certainly coming if things do not radically change, is part of that judgment.
