Collectivist denounces Kokesh march -- almost enough to make you want to overlook the question of who Kokesh really loves. Almost.

The Non-Violent March To Threaten Violence.

Kokesh loves Kokesh - it is all about his own self promotion.

If this planned cluster fuck becomes a reality it will hurt gun rights and overall personal freedom dramatically even if there is not an arrest made or, heaven forbid it happening, a shot fired.

You can categorize this "event" as a wet dream come true by the puppeteers in our government. They would love nothing more than to spin this to the general sheeple population as the definitive reason as to why guns, and liberty in general, must be further restricted.

And if there are provocateurs involved -- I'd say the odds are about 99.9999 to .0001 that they are or will be -- and a shot is fired even into the air, the bumbling DC Metro Police and agents of the Federal Gestapo units will have justification to "return" fire in self defense.

Not only would that be a very bad "first shot heard around the world" it will be a very deadly shot indeed. The government will claim they were only protecting the American way of life against terrorists and massacre most of the fools who intentionally walked into a funneling kill zone -- the bridge they will be crossing. Anybody on that bridge had better have prepared their final wills and have their affairs in order for their surviving family members -- if those family members are not "detained indefinitely" on suspicion of being terrorists or terrorist sympathizers themselves.

This is not thumbing your nose at unconstitutional laws such as trading/distributing banned magazines in an act of civil disobedience while flaunting massive arrest. This is armed insurrection (at least as far as the government "justification" is concerned) and that can only end very poorly for liberty or the desired return to the Constitution in this country.

A demonstration like this cluster fuck is a win-win for the tyranny of our corrupt government, and a lose-lose for not only the patriot community, but for the freedoms of all Americans.

Anonymous, the same can be said about Mike.

Being a veteran of the war in Iraq, and a supporter of the right to keep and bear arms myself... I have to say this Kokesh guy seems like a sick dangerous joke.

His whole scheme smacks of having the intention from the get-go of discrediting sane gun owners everywhere at best, and at worst trying to get people killed creating the crisis needed for more worthless legislation aimed at Citizens and not criminals.

I see alot of people alarmed that this will hurt the gun community and our liberties, etc. While I agree that it will of course give them another excuse to increase tyranny, I question why this even matters in the long run. The regime will go into "American Holocaust" mode sooner or later and you people need to understand that. An armed march, or armed showdown if people decide its safer to wait on the other side of the bridge, can be interpreted in many ways but the way I see it is this, "We either start this shit now or we start it next year..."

Who cares if Kokesh loves Kokesh. He's still pushing the envelope and pounding the message.
And yes, Trinity, it is (as admitted by Kokesh himself on Infowars)ARMED INSURRECTION! What's your point? The U.S. Constitution gives him every Right to do what he is doing. Good on him and GOD bless him! If you're not willing to take a bullet for it you don't deserve it!

I don't trust Kokesh, but I don't trust Clifford Kincaid who shoot paid to shove a camera in his face either or the Daily Caller idiot who trolled Alex Jones outside Bildeberg in 2012. I wouldn't attend nor endorse such an event for reasons of provocateur ing but let's get one thing straight - our host here is going to be denounced by the SPLC crowd as a domestic terrorist the first clip he actually gets caught smuggling into Colorado or NY State. And Bob Owens, no matter how much he may denounce Kokesh, is going to be blamed when the first transformer blows somewhere due to a deliberate sabotage and the lefties want to blame it on patriots. That is all.

@ Tag Ripper

I guess you and I can agree to disagree. If we fire (or provocateurs among us) fire first without having at lest the sympathy of the general public, we lose. It will be a mistake and cause serious damage to our position and efforts.

We're already working from a hole -- let's not intentionally dig it deeper ourselves in order to show that we have balls. We have to work from a nonviolent position until violence is forced on us.

Let's play a game:

Assume the range of an invisible microwave 'heat ray' area denial beam is 1km. Here are maps and photographs of the Arlington Memorial Bridge:
http://binged.it/10o9a70
http://home.nps.gov/gwmp/planyourvisit/memorialave.htm

Now if, hypothetically, you were going to position 1 or more of these heat ray vans around the bridge to forcibly but invisibly herd 1000 hesitant suckers across the bridge and straight into a wall of prepositioned police broadcasting "Stop or we'll open fire! Halt or we'll shoot!"... Where would the best places be to position the vans? Where would the best places be to position the media?

Bonus question: Is there any better place in DC to arrange such a stunt?

Super bonus question: If you were the OPFOR and suspected something like this would happen, where would you place observers and what assets would you use to expose the treachery?

Anonymous (really?) said "We either start this shit now or we start it next year..."
NO. WE don't start this shitshow. WE need to let THEM (fed.gov) start it. The fence sitters and idiot progs need the truth shoved in their faces, and that ain't gonna happen if the Liberty Movement (or Kokesh's false proxy) starts it.

If the DC Gestapo considers a peaceful march with slung arms to be a provocation then we are beyond the point of peaceful resolution. If we fail to assert our rights because we are afraid we might start something, or someone might shoot at us, or they might slip an "agent provocateur" amongst us then we are cowards and undeserving of the title "American." This WILL be a shooting war at some point. The people already have the moral authority to fire the first shot. Put on your big girl panties and deal with it.
