Bob Owens just posted something about Glock firing pins having QC problems too, in Florida. Wonder if it's a stretch to meet demand and if they're buying parts from the Chinese?

Just all the more reason for hardcore shootists to buy 80% lowers, finish them out yourselves, and assemble the rest of the rifle on your own from components/ manufacturers you know & trust. Ditto on the ammo. If you're just now getting into guns, unless you're only 25 years old, "where have you been for the last 20 years?"

BTW, I seem to recall that the US had a covert program to insert 'hot load' 7.62x39 ammo into VC supply lines or leave it on the battlefield to get scrounged by the commies afterward, that instead of firing normally were made to explode instead. I expect that if any commies in the fedgov collective are old enough and educated enough to remember that little trick, they might want to repay the favor. This is another strong argument for loading your own.
