Bob Owens: "Defective Kokesh agitates for slaughter of Second Amendment supporters in D.C."

"I recall Kokesh from his days with Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), an offshoot of John Kerry’s Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), his ceaseless promotion of Adam Kokesh, and most of all, the crazed stare of the truly mad. My guess is that if he’s pushing an armed march on D.C., it is because he’s hoping to immediately surrender as soon as he hits police lines (There is no way he’ll be carrying a gun himself), and is counting on one of the hotheads he brings with him will starting a shoot war with poorly-trained Metro police units and trigger-happy federal agents armed with automatic weapons."

This guy is a DHS plant with a made up name to sound like "David Koresh" This stinks of an anti-freedom Psyop. One started by the DIA or CIA. Hell they have already used this ass clown to infiltrate how many groups?

Bob Owens is wrong.

That's not unusual.

Welcome to the modern patriot movement!

Where "shall not be infringed" actually means "reasonable infringements are common sense" and when a man calls for 1,00 volunteers to exercise their right to bear arms, he's labeled a wacko and his call is not only criticized but actually discouraged.

Mr. Owens is the poster child for all that is wrong with the patriot movement. He is a government apologist and if I had his family connections to the government, I suppose I'd be too.

What kind of man discourages another man from bearing arms?

What kind of man encourages complete submission to all laws regardless of the morality of the laws?

Answer that and you now know the man that is Mr. Owens.

Thankfully we have men like Mike V. who are ready, willing, and able to call a spade a spade.

Men who are willing to stand up and shout "NO!"

Men who are willing to call the govt's bluff and as Mr. V puts it. "Knock the Red Queen on her ass, turn around, and smash the bloody mirror."

Or you can go ahead and put your trust in the government to expand your liberty. That has worked so well since 1934. Remember when the GOP was voted in back in the 90s and how they immediately repealed the Clinton Gun Ban? Oh. Right. They didn't.

No govt has ever worked to increase the liberty of the People, and there is no reason to think this present govt will deviate from history.

Victory in Heller and McDonald? If that is a victory, I tremble at what he considers to be a loss. All those cases did is cement the "truth" that certain arms are for the ruling class, and "shall not be infringed" is a lie.

So lets just chant USA! USA! USA! and keep our knees in good condition; bowing down is tough work, don't you know?

I left this comment on Mr. Owens' site. He apparently didn't think it worth allowing through his moderation filter.

I often wonder just what the hell Captain Parker was thinking when he lined up his militia on the Lexington Green ahead of the advancing Red Coats. The Townspeople must have thought him to be an utter fool to go up against the greatest army in the world. No doubt many of them yelled to him and told him he was foolish to stand there with his armed band of militia. "Get back, get back," I can just hear them calling to him. "This is not the time and not the place." And then, as the Red Coats drew closer, what does Parker do when he and his men are commanded to lay down their arms? Why, like an idiot, he just tells them to disperse! His not telling them to lay down their arms before dispersing was totally foolish and absolutely idiotic. Why? Because it was obvious NO ONE could stand against this well-trained army of Red Coats! And why else? Because by the time the smoke cleared, eight of his militia lay dead or dying on the ground. What a waste.... It was an out-and-out massacre, and totally unnecessary.

It's a wonder all the townspeople didn't come and hang Captain Parker for these idiotic actions! Instead, what did they do? Why, they warned the townspeople in the next targeted town: Concord. And what happened there? Why, another major shootout, only this time multiple British officers lay among the dead! And what did that start? It started a holy freaking war! Of all the insanity! You just don't go shooting officers of the most powerful army in the world and not expect some pretty severe consequences. Duh! The least Captain Parker could have done was to wait until the colonists were more ready and better prepared. Why, only about 3 percent of them even had a clue, and it's not like they were really being that picked on anyway! They still had their farms and livelihoods, and what's the loss of a little ball and powder to the Red Coats anyway? And who cares about Sam Adams anyway--he's just one of those right-wing whacko trouble-makers that'd never be happy with any government! Continued next comment

Continuation:

But instead of waiting for that more opportune time, Captain Parker commanded his men, who no doubt would have rather gone home to lick their wounds and the boots of those Red Coats, to hike to a hillside overlooking the road waiting for the Red Coats to return from Concord, and then, horror of horrors, he actually opened fire on those Lobster Coats, gunning them down mercilessly, when all they were doing was following totally legal orders from their very own government. And then they had the audacity to call it "Parker's Revenge"! Revenge! Oh, that's a horrible word! No doubt his fellow townspeople were shaking in their boots with the realization that they had started a major war that there was no way they could win. "What was Parker thinking?" was the headline in the next morning's paper.

And, now to bring it to our time, just what the hell are all these idiots thinking who are buying up millions of guns and millions of rounds of ammunition? Do they actually think they can win against body-armoured Federal agents with armored vehicles, fully automatic rifles, and 1.6 BILLION rounds of ammunition? Do they actually think that their neighbors will come to their aid as did the neighbors in Captain Parker's time? No, no. We must stop asking those stupid questions of "If not now, when? and if not here, where?" It can't possibly be now, because most of the people aren't ready yet! Why, there's only about 3 percent that even have a clue! And it can't possibly be in D.C., because guns are illegal there, and somebody might get shot! Anybody who says otherwise is clearly a shill working for the Feds! This can ONLY turn into a pointless massacre leading to, yes, more gun control!

Yes, I'm sure the time will come.... And no doubt that time will be obvious to all.... But for now, just cool your jets, abide by the laws of the land including gun registration and confiscation, and sooner or later someone else will fire the shot heard round the world, only it won't be fired with a gun, silly! It'll be a volley of papers fired from the desk of a lawyer! And at that point I suggest we all arm ourselves with lawyers, not guns. There! That'll teach 'em! Isn't that what Captain Parker should have done in the first place? Of course! Stupid idiots! Guns are just so stupid--like any problem has ever been solved with them. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

I agree that we need to stop being government apologists....but Kokesh is a media whore. His background is extremely questionable.

Most importantly, how is it any less a show of acquiescence than the minute you encounter resistance, that you give in and turn back?

Face it: this is a publicity stunt FOR Kokesh....he still wants power, he still wants to hold office....generally, these are the WORST kind of people for the job. Let's not help him gain further notoriety.

Mike, I know you don't much care for Alex Jones and that's OK, but sometimes his site is a good place to go for some news stories. case in point: Jones did an interview with Kokesh where AK admits that if confronted by the feds & DC police, such as physical arrest, he and his will 'submit to the authorities'. See http://www.infowars.com/special-report-talk-show-host-calls-for-armed-march-on-d-c-plans-to-overthrow-government/ (see the last minute of the first embedded video)

I can't help but think that what A.K. is planning on doing is marching his 1,000 blind followers across the Potomac and directly into a prearranged surrender in full view of the libtard commie media.

We definitely need to occupy DC under arms and arrest all of the people there who have violated the rights of We The People, but now is not the proper time and this is not the way to do it.

He is NO Cpt Parker, and has NO Continental Army, or militia behind him.

The comparison is foolish. Parker was not a egoist, this man is. Parker had some idea of what he was facing, this fool doesn't

At best, he'll go home after being met at the half way point on the bridge. At worst, he and many others are dea. Either way, no positive energy for the patriot side. There is no way he can creat a Fort Sumpter here.

Come on, people. Watch some of Kokesh's YouTube videos (adamvstheman.com). He served in Iraq and is now anti-war and pro-liberty (voluntarist). Remember who started the war in Iraq? The same government that is seeking to abridge your rights. Anti-war does not equal commie.

Kokesh does publicity stunts, if you want to call them that. This is similar in spirit to the 2010 rallies at Ft. Hunt National Park and Gravelly Point Park. There is a chance people might be arrested, but no one is going to die. Kokesh is not a plant. Research before spouting off.
