“We are in an epidemic of violence traced to guns,”
Funny , I swear I saw a report that says that "gun violence" has decreased by half since the 90s. so if that is the case , where is this epidemic? Possibly where they have the strictest gun laws perhaps? Quite ironic I would say .
All of the liberal hysteria about "the epidemic of gun violence" is a crock of BS. Violent crime has declined 52% since it's peak in 1991.' There IS NO "epidemic." It is a figment of the progressives' desire to disarm and control us all. Nothing more, nothing less. The drop in crime coincides with and follows the enactment of "shall issue" concealed carry laws and an increase in private gun ownership. John Lott's book title "More Guns, Less Crime" (and it's message) are accurate and should be heeded. "Gun control" has EXACTLY the opposite effect it's proponents claim. Look at Chicago, Los Angeles, etc. for the proof. The most restrictive gun laws equal the highest violent crime and murder rates.
