Pygmy Rattler said...: I read that blurb on Colbert Sturgeon in the Okefenokee Swamp. Then I looked him up-he got a nice ranch style home up in Valdosta!
I think the writer was duped a bit. He wrote that because he had been to the Swamp(beautiful place)and he needed an interesting story for his series.(BS)
Colbert Sturgeon lives at 1202 Dellwood Dr., Valdosta, GA31602!
I am decades familiar with The Swamp, and he don't live there.

I would just like to clarify your misinterpretation. Colbert does live on his land and not on Dellwood Drive as that address is where his ex-wife lives. He use to live in town in Valdosta whenever he was a financial planner but has given up that left style for almost twenty years now. I know he lives on the river as I have visited him many times there in his cabin. You know as we'll as I do, that not everything you read is up to date. Hope this clears things up for you.

He raised two daughters and, in my finest judgement, he would never coerce anyone into activity in which he or she did not want to participate. I have stayed with strangers all over the world, and I have hitch hiked across the country. Never have I put myself into danger, and I consider myself an expert reader of humans. I trust Colbert.
