FBI expresses confidence extremists can obtain Tannerite to make IEDs

Tannerite is the east of their problems. Really.

David Forward said...: The amount of Tannerite one would have to "distill" or refine to make a realistic damaging explosion is ridiculous and overly expensive. The gestapo should be hoping that any wannabe Rambos with a goal of building illegal or defensive bombs use Tannerite!

With just a little basic knowledge and minimal equipment you can visit a local Super Wal Mart or Super Target, etc., and purchase all the ingredients necessary (for +/-$50) to make enough plastique with around 85-90% strength of commercial C-4 to build a dozen improvised claymores, or drop a small three story building.
