"5 Things the Gun Grabbers Apparently Don't Understand"

Well, some do, some don't. The hard-core collectivists driving the grab understand very well.

Although I must say this paragraph brought a chuckle:

Sorry, but your Second Amendment rights no longer apply because liberals like Josh Marshall tinkle on themselves every time they come within fifty feet of a gun. This is really what the debate on gun control in America comes down to in the end: people who lose nothing if guns are banned because they don’t use them demanding that everyone else be disarmed. Meanwhile, trying to reason with gun control advocates is like arguing with a four year old about whether her imaginary friend is real or not. It doesn't matter how clearly you prove your case; she'll be pouring her pal tea two minutes after you've left the room.

John said...: Senate passed a bill making a straw-purchaser AND the seller a felon... punishment unto 25 years. No doubt next step would be to make the manufacturer liable. After all - the manufacturer's crystal ball is just as good as the seller's.

William Flatt said...: The author should have said SIX things, because it is apparent that there is ONE MORE THING that the gun grabbers apparently don't get; they can keep on doing what they want but it doesn't change the fact that at some point they're going to cross the line and people are going to push back. For now, it's a commitment to not comply. But if the grabbers go for the Darwin Award, then the people are going to start taking stronger measures. Bricks & windows apparently did not achieve the desired effect first time around, so stronger measures may likely immediately start with "the counting coup on 100 heads".

It may or may not be a III'er that does that for the 1st time, depending on which way the wind is blowing and just how hard the collectivists come at us. But when SHTF, you know it's gonna get 'really interesting' in record time, and I bet the dinosaur media will be completely unable to get ahead of that curve fast enough to put their unique spin on evolving events.

I rather expect that the collectivists will get to feeling particularly froggy one day, try to waco someone and then SHTF. Even after the counting coup begins, there will be some who will STILL not get it! But the fact that the top collectivists are buying real estate OCONUS as of late suggests that they think the counting coup will be strictly local. They too are mistaken because I personally know more than a couple of operators who have infil'ed and exfil'ed THROUGH more than one country on some of their missions. Against people who can hump that many miles to complete their mission, these grabbers will surely get a rude F.U. one day, to their complete amazement.

So LET THEM fail to understand. I personally rather hope every collectivist out there gets their very own own Darwin Award.; March 5, 2013 at 2:17 PM
