Kerodin's latest con. I do not. I generally don't subscribe to anything proposed by a convicted -- and self-admitted -- federal extortionist who has also had contact with the ATF in a criminal case. (Making him, if nothing else, eminently blackmailable by the Feds. Heh. If so, an ironic end for an extortionist, wouldn't it be?)
I've spent quite a while ignoring Kerodin lately but when someone brought this spot-on post from California Yankee to my attention and then someone else asked me, in all uninformed innocence, if I had anything to do with III Arms, I realized I needed to put up this disclaimer.
Sadly, anybody who sends this guy money will likely get more (and less) than they bargained for.

I cannot agree more. His record speaks for itself. Thanks for the shout out. Unfortunately, I am concerned about some who seem to have contributed to this hare-brained scheme and there's not a damned thing I can say or do to convince them that it seems to be headed for a bad end...

Yeah , My better judgement say's stay the hell away from this cat.As if his proposal to build some mountaintop fortress out west ain't far enough out there. He also is trying to assemble 300 patriot's on the step's of the capitol bldg. in Nov. And he has some promises from some good people to be there. Maybe a few year's ago , but not now . Time's being what they are , bad idea - bad idea.

For K, some things never change. Some might remember how K duplicated the III concept because he wasn't creative enough to come up with something unique. Now he wants to start a firearm company and duplicate a pistol that has been around since 1911.
K could easily design custom replacement grips which fit a 1911 pistol and sell them, but he's not interested in making small and slow profits. He's interested in selling ideas to get his hands on large sums of other people's money and that is what got him convicted in the past.
What makes a convicted felon, one who cannot legally possess firearms, think he can legally start up a new gun manufacturing company? Finding ways to get around a minor law is one thing, but the government doesn't like to be deceived with it comes to firearms. The ATF will be on him like stink on rice.
This citadel idea sounds too much like the Branch Davidians in Waco and we all know what happened there.
I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to invest in his scheme. We'd get more entertainment value from our investment dollar by starting up a pool based on the date of K's next arrest.
I don't know the full back-story on Mr Kerodin. But I do remember vaguely you saying about his prior (criminal) background. Thanks for the reminder.
And yes, after reading his so-called "prospectus" or "business plan", I wouldn't invest YOUR money in it, much less any of mine (not that I have much to begin with).
And considering his background, his prior federal involvement, and his blackmail-ability, I wonder if he's not the front man for some federal scam (F&F style). Cue the tin-foil hat conspiracy brigade.
PS - Of course I may be wrong, but I'll believe Mr Kerodin when I see the first firearm roll off the assembly line available for sale at a reasonable price.

Not only is this ass a con-man, but if you have read his blog over the last year. He is stone crazy. When dudes started going off to the "faithfull" about the need to murder women and kids in the name of "justice" well thats just way over the top.And yeh , I think that this asshole is a FED-TROLL and not the only one.It somehow seems right that a man who is the only member of a malitia group NOT to go to federal prison, (and to be moved out of state) would be his most ardent supporter.
I'm the guy running the FFL part of the III Arms operation. All of the firearms transfers will go through me, from the prototypes, to the shipment of the manufactured pieces when that time comes. Your smoke should continue to go up the asses of those who blindly believe you.
The firearms manufacturing side of this operation is approved by the BATFE to include the money transfer side of the house. All players involved with the handling of the firearms are 01FFL minimum, with several 07's in the mix doing the building. Sorry, your ATF worries are for naught. Thanks for playing, tho.
K has not handled a firearm, even when surrounded by a room full of them. My offers of handling the product I, and others, are producing for the III Arms have gone answered. He refuses to handle a firearm, as he knows this will cause a problem for something we all see as a workable endeavor. He isn't even on the founding documents for the III Arms Company, legal or otherwise. I know, because I am on those documents. Again, thanks for playing.

Everyone here seems to think that a felony on your record is a permanent bar to owning a firearm. In my home state of Texas, according to section 56.04 of the Texas Penal code, a felon can own a firearm five years after final dispostiion of his/her sentence as long as they arent in possession of it outside of their residence.
In other words, you stay out of trouble for five years, you can have a gun in your house, but you cant get a permit to carry
I am unaccountably reminded of the 1983 Walter Matthau/Robin Williams film The Survivors.

Don't know if you're aware, but if a convicted felon can't ride in a car with a firearm or live in a home with one, then I'm guessing being "surrounded by a room full of them" is probably a bad idea as well.

I wonder just how "free" the citadel will be in the end. K doesn't appreciate free speech for others and typically bans disagreeable people from his blog. Imagine relocating to his walled citadel in Idaho (totally off the government radar, of course *rolls eyes*) and investing time and money to build it up only to find yourself cast out because of a difference of opinion with the man. What will start out as an attempt to gain greater freedom for all will end up being a dictatorship over all. And when everyone has been cast out or leaves in disgust he'll be the sole remaining occupant of a huge fortress he could never have built by himself. I don't think he would mind that outcome at all, but then lawsuits will begin accusing him of evertything from deceptive practices and fraud to discrimination and abuses of human rights.
Personally, I don't know K, but I know his kind. If some want to throw caution to the wind then go for it, but don't complain later when things go bad.

There may be reasons to believe the project is foolish or not foolish, and there's nothing wrong with sharing those reasons. But a lot of people are involved, and a fair amount of money to boot, and to offer nothing but comments on a particular person, leader or not, is...well, it's the ad hominem fallacy.
If rational people are to be free, then ALL people must be free, until and unless they PHYSICALLY interfere with someone else. This is not a tough concept to understand.

If I understand it correctly, Millerized gave a kidney to Dick Heller's wife, he's had an FFL for 2 years now, and he does some appealing firearm work. By himself the media just might view him favorably if they were ever to shine a spotlight on him.
Keep in mind K has a lot of controversy around his criminal past, in the present with various III personalities and efforts, and in future plans related to a firearm company and citadel idea. Controversy draws attention from people, the combination of felons and firearms attracts attention from the government, and it only takes a single screw up for all this to attract media attention. When the media shines a spotlight on K, what will they find beyond numerous names, websites, and businesses; as well as harsh treatment, language, and ideas? Any screw up at any point in time and everything associated with K will automatically be linked to Millerized who is also linked to Dick Heller who is also a key champion in the gun-rights cause.
It won't matter what good Millerized or Heller has done in the past, for they will be associated with all the negative which surrounds K. The gun-rights cause as a whole will be given a huge black eye on that day. It's an extremely risky situation to be in, even if one likes the idea of a new firearm company or citadel. Mike doesn't want to be in that situation so he feels compelled to set the record straight now so everyone knows he is not associated with K. Were it not for having to do this periodically I think Mike would like nothing more than to continue ignoring K.
Once again a select group of people think they have cornered the market on American idealism. Sounds like Obama's minions. Same shit, different name.
