File this under "Nice to Know."

"Holder: U.S. can lawfully target American citizens."
More broadly, Holder argued that the targeting of specific senior belligerents in wartime in not unusual, and noted the 1943 U.S. tracking and shooting down of the plane carrying Japanese Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto — the commander of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
So, Eric, does that hold true for civil wars, too?

Publish, or not:

Appears to be good news for people that live in the Peoples Commonwealth of Mary.

Gee! I am surprised to see anybody seriously questions it. If the Ruby Ridge and and Branch Davidian incidents taught us nothing else, it should have shown us conclusively that our government believes that it can target American citizens. Since the government (and its myriad minions) is above the law, anything the government does is by definition "lawful". Besides, short of armed rebellion, there is nothing anyone can do to contest the government's acts.

Frog soup, anyone?
