Will the Republicans be so fractured they'll be unable to make a strong enough stand against Barry Soetoro this coming November to defeat a President who's even more damaging to America than was Jimmy Carter? Say it ain't so. Maybe that plain speaking New York City cowboy will ride to the rescue and save US. A frank and earnest businessman needs to rise up and lead US to economic and social recovery real soon lest we swoon and bay at the moon.
It's always a good thing when a candidate that has the ethics and morals of a rattlesnake, begging the pardon of all rattlers everywhere, gets shown the door via his own behavior and words.
Sadly, it appears that Gingrich may carry South Carolina in the upcoming primary election, at least that's what it looks like now.
Maybe my fellow South Carolinians will wake up before election day, but that's doubtful. SC backed up John Sidney McCain, with Huckabee coming in second.
No other candidate other than Ron Paul has justified standing to call out the hypocrisy of others.
Goodness, who else could get elected to Congress for 24 years and never vote for a tax increase or unbalanced budget. Dr. Paul even calls Reagan a big spender.
How anyone can consider Newt as a serious candidate is beyond me. Does anyone remember the CONTRACT WITH AMERICA? It was a 10 point platform on which the Republicans ran in the mid-90's. The controlled both houses and did not get a single item in this "contract" passed into law.
I'm actually hoping Ron Paul does NOT get the nomination this time. Our economy is in a tailspin and the engine is on fire. Whoever is in the Oval Office in March 2013 is going to catch Hell because there is nothing anyone in Washington can do to keep this from crashing and burning.
The only bright spot in the whole campaign is that F&F may put "loathsome and unprincipled" Mitt Romney in a target position, thus eliminating any need for us to consider him or the GOP in the foreseeable future.
Gingrich has got lots of strikes against him, but his grasp of history may make him the only candidate (other than Mr. Paul) who has any sense how far we've strayed from Founders' intent.
He's also been, by far, the best at articulating the broader threat to Western Civilization.
I'd take a Gringrich over a Romney or Obama. If the GOP fails to perform after 2012, it's be time to get serious about a Constitutionally loyal third party. Especially in Congressional races.

The truth hurts, eh Newt?
I don't believe any poll that puts Gingrich in the lead.
The prestitutes want anyone but Ron Paul.
Ron Paul is the last hope for america

"Ouch" is right...
Yes, Mike, the truth should hurt.

We do not need a Newt again.

I don't know anyone who would vote for Newt and can only extrapolate that he is the choice of those pushing an agenda for the status quo.
I hope this message from Ron Paul wakes up anyone who actually thought seriously about voting for the man.
Ron Paul would do better to target Obama.

Newt is an empty suit. He will say and do anything to advance himself.
And now I am supposed to back old "They're terrorists because we're occupiers." Ron Paul?
If I wanted incompetent leadership like that I could have voted for Obama or McCain and got my leftist revisionist history pure!
