Big Sis on the grill. OCDETF? What's OCDETF? I know noth-ink.

The Washington Times: Napolitano queried on lack of Fast and Furious probe.

Tickle the Wire: Rep. Issa Suggests Homeland Chief Napolitano Moved Too Slow in Probe of Dead Border Agent Brian Terry.

As I wrote below, the conclusion of the well-informed is that Nappy should have plead the Fifth rather than commit perjury. Her denial of knowledge of what an OCDETF investigation was to Rep. Gowdy, in light of her experience as a former federal prosecutor, was laughable.

The whole thing was laughable.

The term "smoking gun" was originally, and is still primarily, a reference to an object or fact that serves as conclusive evidence of a crime or similar act.

Its name originally came from the idea of finding a smoking (i.e., very recently fired) gun on the person of a suspect wanted for shooting someone, which in that situation would be nearly unshakable proof of having committed the crime.--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoking_gun

There is a peculiar incongruity in Napolitano's testimony. She would have us believe she was so single-mindedly focused on bringing Brian Terry's killers to justice that she immediately deferred to the Justice Department when it came to investigating "smoking gun" evidence of the means used to commit a homicide and their provenance.

The "who" was of all-consuming interest to her but the "how" and "with what" and "from whom" was inconsequential, or even insignificant.

This reconstruction of events does not pass the "smell test." ;^(

This brings to light what most people suspected, if not criminal this is gross negligence. This administration, by its appointments to various agencies, shows what happens when people are appointed for their ideology instead of qualifications. Think about this when you vote for president. We have two such people recently placed in the Supreme Court already, we don't need more.

"..if not criminal"?

Because of these actions people in at least two counties have been murdered. Is that a crime? If the plan that led to the murders were actually treason, would that be a crime? Would the taking of actions in furtherance of said plan not amount to conspiracy?

Acting good faith they say. Immunity, they say.

TREASON, MURDER and CONSPIRACY to commit both, I say. Wonder why major media doesn't....?

Because they are culpable.

"Obviously there was a problem with Fast and Furious" - Janet Napolitano

After watching her testimony, I remembered a video I had seen sometime back. Different subject but seemed to go along the same lines.
