Well, defecate and shove me in it. "House Democrats urge White House to come clean on Gunwalker."

Hoo-raw for David Codrea. It turns out the NRA might just be good for something after all. David's been pounding on this issue of "pro-gun" Democrats and holding the NRA's feet to the fire. Here is the result. And here is the NRA statement on the matter.

Today, 31 U.S. House members -- all Democrats -- wrote to President Barack Obama, urging him to end Administration stonewalling on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' "Project Gunrunner," and the "Fast and Furious" program under which border state dealers were encouraged to sell thousands of guns to suspicious buyers.

In the letter, spearheaded by Rep. Jason Altmire, D-Pa., the lawmakers called the investigative tactics "extremely troubling" and found the Justice Department's failure to provide information to congressional investigators "equally troubling." Saying that Americans deserve "prompt and complete answers," the letter concluded with a call for the administration to help "get to the bottom of this serious allegation of federal law enforcement misconduct."

First Gunwalker then Libya... one could almost conclude this administration intends to operate outside the rule of law

"Investigative Tactics?"

When you trumpet an "Iron River" that's drowning Mexico in blood, then create a river by violating the controls already preventing it in order to go "under the radar" creating new policy, even law...

Its not an investigation, its a crime.

The NRA is participating in the cover-up.

Are these 31 Democrats the "honest Socialists" who have been manipulated by the "bad kind of Democrats" into going along with the destruction so recently wrought? If so, hooray for revelation!

Honest democrats can be negotiated with, especially when they have been betrayed by their Party and a large block of fellow travelers. There are also few enough of them... about 15%.

Hope....and some change-back that isn't filth-coated and base metal.

The administration can't come clean Mike. They are over their heads in it.

Just what I have read, and from being around and part of the Federal Government most all my life, tells me Obama knew and approved.

Way too much circumstantial evidence, and the time for coming clean was last December.
