Darrell Issa on FOX News: Promises more subpoenas coming out quickly and "the first" Gunwalker Scandal hearing "by summer."

The hearings cometh. Homer Simpson tries out his new gig as an ATF political analyst.

Remember this?

Although the video is not yet posted, Darrell Issa, in an exclusive interview with FOX News today, promised more subpoenas in short order (likely just as I predicted to be issued beginning on 13 June) and hearings "by summer." The first hearing will focus on the victims of the murderous Gunwalker policy. He said that the Gunwalker scandal came from the "highest levels" of the administration.

The first day of summer is 21 June.

The countdown to hearings begins.

Subpoenas are worthless without a credible threat of unpleasant consequences. I'm sorry to say it but were I in DOJ's place, I would ignore Congressman Issa's subpoenas too. It can take YEARS for a contempt of congress action to come to fruition - if, indeed, it ever does!

It is time for Rep. Issa to grow a pair, lace on a pair of steel-toed brogands, sharpen his pencil and start kicking ass and taking names. Surely there enough Republicans and almost Republicans in the House to to push a Contempt of Congress ruling in a reasonable time. Then the Sergeant at Arms of the House can go fetch the miscreants. If DOJ is stupid enough to use Federal Marshals to stop the SaA then that itself should be a Boston Massacre type action.

Someone here who is in Re;. Issa's district needs to fax or snail mail him and tell him it is time to shit or get the hell off the pot.

Will be watching. I'd like to see this thing gain some momentum. Time to put these morons' backs against the wall tightly. No room to squirm.

Bad Cyborg and everyone else with an interest in this. Just because you do not live in the man's district does not mean you can't weigh in on the subject.

No matter what district, any thing an elected federal official does effects ALL of us. Write him and let him know that this cncerns everyone and let him know your feelings. Use an attention grabbing brightly colored 3X5 and send a brief message to increase the heat. Be polite. I did.
