Getting down toward the end.

My apologies for no posts, but I'm in the end stages. The docs give me about 4 weeks and I still have a lot to get done before I check out. I'll have more later today (I hope) about projects still in motion but right now that's all I can muster. God bless you all for the many prayers and support you have extended to me and my family.

Mike,

I saw you a few years back at a talk you gave in Charlotte, MI.

I'll see you at the great and eternal reunion.

Well Mike, they've been wrong before. I've been checking back here several times a day hoping to see that Magpul article pushed down in thread. Today I got what I was praying for signaling you're there. You're back. For what it's worth, and I believe many like ME "discovered" you later on during the course of all your work, well beyond even F&F, and what hangs ominously over this great Country. For your unwavering work. Many here will shed blood, some their very lives, before we are once again united under and fully the United States Constitution. But we've mercifully been able to delay it I believe very close to as far as we likely can. I am for your knowledge, untiring and unwavering efforts better prepared for what is now sealed. And regardless of who "wins" the coming election. Likely Clinton if the TrumpCHUMPS proceed thinking their leftist founded Trump can possibly win though he's sure attached a ring to their noses with a chain. He can not and will not for this overwhelmingly remains very much the same dazed, confused, duped, Doped up, willfully ignorant, hapless, helpless, hopeless, slovenly, willfully ignorant electorate that validated the Spectacular Incompetent bh0bama in 2008 and again in 2012. Not once, but TWICE.

YOU have made me a better American father to our children who I made watch many of your travels addressing Patriots all over the Country. Mostly those recorded at youtube. It certainly changed critical components of their thinking towards what they otherwise may have taken too lightly from Cindy and I. At 23 and 20 years of age they're nearing critical understanding. I only wish we could have made the recent trip to Pinson to help with the work day and shook your hand in person to thank you. YOU Mike have bridged the gap.

We continue to Pray for you, Rosie and the kids. Doubt these words suffice, but our sentiment of indebtedness and respect for all you do and have done is quite real. Your picture, and it's a damn good one we've had enlarged and framed hangs in our house on what we've designated our "Wall of Honor" joining many American Patriots. But of course it's way more than this. There it will always remain until passed to our boys, our grandchildren, and beyond.

Our Prayers, Love, Profound Thanks, and Respect to you Sir. Now and always. We will Not forget.

Truly,
Tom, Cindy, TJ. Mikey.

Mike, although I can't say that I've agreed 100% with all of your views and stances, there is no doubt that you have done much more than most all of us (myself included) to advance the torch of freedom and beat back the darkness of tyranny. For those actions, we certainly owe you a debt of gratitude.

A few words of solace from someone more eloquent than I are all I can offer.

“So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.

Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours.

Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life.

Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people.

Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.

Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place.

Show respect to all people and grovel to none.

When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself.

Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way.

Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.”

One of the great regrets of my life is that I let my fear of the government keep me from going to hear and meet you when you spoke in San Antonio. I had just gotten shed of false charges and was free from having to appear at the courthouse once a month and no longer had to check in with the bail bondsman every Tuesday. There had been so much on the news about what SAPD was going to do to people who showed up and even worse to anyone who openly carried a long gun. Having only just (3 days earlier) gotten free of leviathan's jaws I was afraid of being ensnared once again. I allwoed my rear to control me rather than controlling my fear. I would have loved to heard you speak and shaken your hand.

One can only hope to leave America a better place after they are gone then when they are born. In your case, you have achieved what the rest of us can only stand back and admire in awe.
I of course echo all the well wishes and prayers for your health and healing that others have sent. To have lived a life that ends in being loved by so many, even if cut unfairly short, is a goal that any of us would be glad to reach, but few could have the courage that it has taken you to get there.
If we are able to return this nation to it's proper path it will be because of you and a few others like you. God has a place waiting close by his side to greet you, and to say well done. May you and your family know peace now and in the future.

It's been no secret that we have not gotten along well in this life. But what you are going through now is something I watched my mother go through as a young man, and I do not wish it on my worst enemy. You are hardly that. You have tremendous public speaking and organizational skills that I did not appreciate when I first became aware of you. Your work with Fast and Furious was the height of citizen journalism. I've appreciated your even keel in some of the late standoffs, as things seemed to be moving toward the precipic. I'll admit your instincts have been more prophetic than mine in the past eight years. Whatever lies for you beyond this life, I wish you well. Having been the family on the other side of the cancer equation, I made what happened to my mother part of me, and I do not think it detracted from who I am. I am sure your family will endure, as I have tried to. I will never forget my mother and I am sure you're family, friends, and fans will never forget you.

I see you have passed the torch to your son. If he's half the man you are the cause is in good hands. Rest easy Mike, you have kindled a fire that will burn for more generations than you could ever have foreseen.

Death is our final enemy. Why didn't Adam & Eve eat from the Tree of Life first then never from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? We could have lived forever in the Garden of Eden in God's presence. My how easily each of us can run something that's so perfect!

Congratulations Mike on knowing your destination and realizing it is assured because you know your Creator God and believe on His Son Jesus the Christ, His perfect life, His death on the cross for all our sins, and His resurrection from the dead. He shows us the way and oh what a joy in this messed up world to know the truth and to be free.

His blessings to you and your family brother!

Dutchman,
Your presence on this blog has comforted me in times of need, hurried me in times of haste and alarmed me in times of danger. Thank you for all you have done for the III percent community and for all patriots where ever they be. You have not gone quietly into that good night, like you said you would not. You have provided us with an example to not just live by, but to teach others to live by! There is no finer example of a true Patriot than you, Dutchman, and I would be surprised if there ever is anyone who can match your caliber.

I noticed that you have given the reins to your son, Matthew. I trust that he is his father's son, and will carry the torch proudly, in your name ! I believe he will make you proud!

Vaya con dios, mi amigo! This is one of the saddest days on the internet ever, for today I lost my favorite blogger!

May the Good Lord take a liking to you, Mike. But not too soon!

See you on the other side, Dutchman, we will talk then. I wish you an enlightening journey.

Mike,

Not everyone makes a difference in this old world. You, sir, clearly are one who makes a great difference. When you meet John Parker, Isaac Davis, and all the rest of the Founding Fathers, they will be pleased to hear there are still men who know very well what they are about, and who still spit in the eye of tyrants. God Bless you, sir! I will miss your clear and reasoned voice.

Mike,

Your writing and example turned this greenhorn millennial into someone who refuses to rely on others to protect my own life and interests. I have learned so much about history from your prompting and learned that things in history are not always what they seem (especially when the government tells the tale). You have enriched my life and thus the lives of my wife and children, and have made ripples that will continue for generations to come. That's all a man can hope to achieve on this earth, isn't it? You've done well.

Prayers.

I've not agreed with you on all of your positions, but I appreciate the glimpses at the process that got you there. Your writing and candor have swayed several people I know who I thought couldn't be reached, and you're one of the rare ones that actually puts their own butt on the line when you advocate a course of action.

I sorely regret getting to shake your hand in CT.

Thank you.

Mike;

I started Reading SSI and the "War on Guns" right after you and David broke the F&F. a.k.a the end run around the 2nd amendment. I consider you and Breitbart the new voice of the Citizen journalism movement, when y'all would publish stuff that the mainstream media wouldn't because they are beholding to an agenda and not the truth. What y'all did started me on the blogging movement.
You are respected by your friends and feared by your enemies..a better epitaph no man can have. May God speed you and your family through this difficult time.

Respectfully

Your love for what this country was founded on and your willingness to call out the modern day tyrants has been an inspiration for all of us out here. Your constant reminders of history's noble warriors has encouraged us to stand up {or perhaps duck down} and challenge those who seek to oppress this great country. Only the ignorant repeat history, Thank You for helping us learn from it. Thank You for those Praxis postings, the humor you've shared and those 0300 hr postings of Robert Service. You will be missed my brother, my daily prayer for you is that your final journey be smooth and swift, lifted up by angels and that your family feels their presence and is comforted by their grace. My prayers are and will still be with you and now that my wife of 23 years has passed 2 weeks ago, maybe she will get the chance to do what I never did, meet and talk with you.
