Am in Denver as I type (very ill great-granddaughter in Co Children's Hosp) and the attack ads being run against Gardner are NOT being paid for by Udall campaign but some PAC - likewise for Chickenloper v Beauprez. Anti-Gardner ads sole focus is "reproductive rights". One ad even claimed Gardner wanted to make birth control pills over-the-counter - something you'd THINK the progs would love.
Annyhow, the most recent polls have Chockenloper & Udall behind but "within the margin of the poll". I figure that puts them well within the margin of fraud.
Looks like Udall went down along with the Governor. I wonder if he still thinks signing that bill was a good idea? Wonder who he will blame for his defeat
