The Moral And Legal Defense Of Pointing Weapons At Bureau Of Land Management Agents

Since many juries are nothing more than a collection of imbeciles pooling their ignorance, discussions of the constitutional provisions or lack thereof for what the BLM did is a bridge too far. Lives are at stake, and thus a simple and compelling argument needs to be pressed. Fortunately, there is such an argument. First of all, all men regardless of station in life are justified in self defense, and moreover, are duty bound to preserve life to the best of their ability. This is a moral obligation on par with the most basic and important of God’s expectations for man.

Herschel Smith is spot on!
If you (no matter what uniform you are wearing) point a gun at innocents, then you are threatening the use of lethal force which thereby allows the innocent party to use justifiable force to stop you.

BLM should be thankful they were not shot for their wrongful actions.

Hmmmmmm. Let me see.

1) Indicted for threatening a government agent by a government prosecutor via a grand jury that any prosecutor worth a pinch of salt could get to indict a ham sandwich.

2) Tried in a government court

3) by the aforementioned government prosecutor

4) with a government judge presiding,

5) and a government licensed lawyer defending them.

Yup, yup. Sounds like a perfect recipe for the accused receiving a fair trial and completely impartial justice.

NOT!!!!!

Every courthouse ought to have a special, designated door that defendants are REQUIRED to use to enter said courthouse. Above the door, deeply incised in the most adamantine stone procurable, is the legend, "Abandon hope, All ye who enter here."

Looks like the rubber is about to hit the road and the organic fertilizer is about to impact the wind machine. Definitely going to separate the patriots from the posers.

While I don't expect much good within the court system, it will be amusing to see how they attempt to justify pointing guns at us, while we can't point guns back at them.

Keep in mind that juries are drawn from the community. Here in Florida the pool used to be drawn from registered voter lists until someone realized that people were not registering to avoid jury duty. These days the pool is drawn from lists of licensed drivers. The constitution guarantees an "impartial jury", not a jury of legal experts and in fact one finds that since 50% of all humans have an IQ under 100, so do prospective jurors. Add to this the filter whereby the respective attorneys attempt to weed out anyone who has an opinion on anything from the jury and you end up with jurors that don't know much about anything except DWTS and the various Kardashian's

Folks must learn the lesson of the Founders.
C-R-E-A-T-O-R.
Just as some blindly play the "race" card to avoid dealing with a particular situation honestly, some play something of a subset of it by rejecting anything associated with "God".

By using the word "Creator", knowing full well they meant God, they removed the playing of the card by those who tended to be "non believers". For its unarguable that everyone was indeed "created", it's also unarguable that we each came to be "built in" with certain things - RIGHTS.

Is this placating? I think not. I submit its beating them at their own game. Creator is the way - simply because once established that one was indeed created- self evidence is, well, self evident. There MUST be a Creator once creation is proven. Sure, it's arguable who or what that Creator is, but that's not TRULY germane to the point at hand, indeed, that discussion can and will be had forevermore.

The Founders understood that in order to settle what HAD to be settled, use of CREATOR was necessary - and we should do the same.

Amazing it is to be reminded - those who came together to found and frame this nation figured all the angles and accounted for them. We should quit trying to reinvent the wheel and roll instead on the wisdom they so genuinely demonstrated.

Have any arrests been made?I was there in the riverbed on April 12. We had lots of guns, but I didn't see as single one of them aimed at anyone.Us being armed really put the pressure on the Feds - it's why they backed down.Even if some lying Boot Licking Mercenary makes a claim,FBI Will have to connect a description to a name - slim chance of that!

If Americans pointed their weapons at any law enforcement acting illegally it is wholly legal self defense by Gods law and mine.

It seems to me that a lot more intelligent people need to start serving jury duty. Yeah, they try to weed out the "dangerous" ones by asking various questions. So lie to them! I mean, if you think about it, most lawyers and judges are the devil, so one is morally bound to deceive them, right?

I usually detest liars, but I would be willing to put my aversions on hold to weasel my way into a juror's position. It's the only way to take back the ground we've lost with the legal system, due to the fact that many of us have made every effort to escape jury duty. I know I have. I think it's time to take responsibility and fix this thing.

"Yes, there is definitely going to be consequences, definitely. That is unacceptable behavior. If we let it go, it would continue into the future," Lombardo said.
