"Police faced possible 'bloodbath' at Bundy protest."

Tensions have subsided and the crowds of armed militia around rancher Cliven Bundy have largely dispersed, but the situation is far from resolved. Federal officials are exploring their legal options, and Metro Police confirm that an investigation is ongoing. What has not been made public is just how close things came to an all-out gun battle. Some of those who were on the front lines spoke exclusively to the I-Team's George Knapp. When the Bureau of Land Management mobilized to go after Bundy's cattle two years ago, they did so under an administrative order. This time, it was considered a criminal matter, and the I-Team has learned that order went all the way to the White House for approval.

I commented at the article, but since i basically told them it was bullshit, I doubt it will get past their censorship.

Another Waco, narrowly avoided for the time being.

Years ago I would have said that those beltway bastards sure are slow learners, but it's beyond obvious that besides seeing us as a crop to be harvested, they simply have no regard for the peasants at all.

(One of the passwords was "late"... It is late - later than most think. How appropriate!)

Your Oath Keepers did their job today agreeing with everything in this report on the Jon Ralston show. It will be up on the internet tomorrow. Their representation on that show was treason to real American Patriots. You need to denounce them or lose any credibility you had.

This comment from the end of the article sums it up:

"The I-Team has learned that those who were involved in threatening the lives of officers are not off the hook, even if it takes a year or more to resolve."

In other words, exactly what many here on SSI predicted would happen appears to be taking shape. All that facial recognition and license plate ID software will be used to slowly, methodically find and single out people who participated in the Bundy ranch protest over the coming years.

The 100 Heads policy needs to extend to anyone nabbed under this Stasi dragnet.

Those agents expect you to cower like they're used to seeing. The don't seem to understand that the game has changed and it would not be in their interest. Let 'em know we're looking out for their interest.

LIES! Metro LV Police never went into the wash. They stayed up in the median of the highway. Protesters did yell at them asking them why they were there? Letting them know they were on the wrong side of the fight.

BLM and eventually 3 sheriffs deputies were down in the wash. The guns were pointed at the Bundy supporters by BLM pictures will support this. I have seen the picture of the lone guy lying on the side of the highway in the prone prosition. That is the only person I know was pointing a gun at BLM. Most of the others that were armed carried in a legal open carry fashion. The article reminds me of all the stories we read of police over reacting to people legally exercising their second amendment rights.

The message here is that when the population actually stands up to the crooked SOB's they will back down.

More like an anti-Waco. The BLM would have been slaughtered within two or three minutes, I think. Bad position, inappropriate weapons and I imagine most have no real training and not much dedication towards dying for their cause.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how different this was (and could have been) than Waco.

I knew twenty years ago that the lack of justice over Waco would create long-term problems but didn't think it would incubate for so long. Feds have a real problem now. Sad, all they had to do was prosecute the Waco perpetrators and some bankers but they just couldn't do it.

It is ever so obvious we are now the enemy of the state. The lives of the public are worthless. Boone County Sheriffs office,KY. : Deputy Sheriff fatally shoots 19 yr old girl four times, for failing to stop while leaving field party. Saturday night April 26, 2014. Mike needs to check this out.

Anon@11:39PM,,,, Bullshit! Oath Keepers is staffed with humans, not saints. Therefore it is expected that mistakes will be made. Lord knows I've made plenty in my life. But, I do strive to learn from them. Has your own halo already been issued? And no, I'm not a member of Oath Keepers.

Anyone who can stomach this interview with OK and still support the Oath Keepers is an infiltrator. http://www.ralstonreports.com/tv

The last sentence in the article says they're going to go after the protesters one by one. They don't understand this idea works both ways. One man can take out a hole lot of (pick you're targets) simply by learning there habits, and choosing when and where to take them out. All people in the U.S. that have bin given some power over the people need to understand when push comes to shove we the people will always shove harder!

This is what residents had to say about the recent festivities. http://www.fox5vegas.com/story/25409893/bunkerville-residents-sound-off-about-blm-police-media

Correction Anon at 7:46 AM (may 2)...you do NOT "know" he was pointing a gun at BLM unless you were the one holding the rifle.

He could have been pointing it in the general direction or at nothing at all.

Let's not go stating things as fact that *could* be painted as an "assault on an officer" charge at a later date please.

That's all we need is the government to start having their unprovable allegations corroborated by internet "witnesses" that were supposedly there.

Thanks, Average Moke. Real people; no wonder we never hear about them.

So after watching the above referenced Ralston video, can anyone claim to represent Oathkeepers? Seems like the one guy who has been a "member" for a week sure had a lot to say on behalf of OK. There are lots of lessons to learn from Bunkerville, some good, some bad, but it is important that they are learned for future events.

Anon1135, those beltway bastards, as you call them, aren't slow learners. It's not their money that will pay the widows and orphans of those they send to their dooms.

They have ZERO interest in the outcome. Not only are they out of range of the rifles in Nevada, they won't even break a sweat while shit is hitting the fan. They'll watch it on live dronevision in their air conditioned offices in D.C. and go out for drinks after.

Anon1212, you're right. Please, God, let it not come to that. If it does, try to be merciful. Don't let them suffer. Were better than that.

They should worry more about what happens after some Fed Thug does something stupid for example perpetrating a 'bloodbath' or any violence.

The British Regulars suffered most of their losses on the way back from Concord after all.

I'm no hothead but those guys in the Ralston interview are traitors. I apologize if I have offended any one except for those traitors in the interview.
