Uh, Rhino. And disingenuous harpy. Another example of the fact we are not only not voting our way out of this, but an example for the masses of unaware people to notice.
Typical politician. She was worried about her political career.
If, against all odds (considering the incredibly low rate of NFA firearms involved in crime) one of these "machine guns" were later used in a crime after she signed the bill....her opponents would have field day with it.
Why can't we live in a country where the people are smart enough to judge for themselves if something is in keeping with the Constitution or not? NFA would be un-Consitutional in the first place and even if it was still a valid law, this dumbass Governor wouldn't be held responsible b/c she was acting to protect rights enshrined in the BoR. Further, what about the personal accountability of the perpetrator?
Country's gone mad....and I'm preaching to the converted.
She represents the problem of the GOP....the party puts this kind of 'conservative' up for the voters to elect....as voters refuse to educate themselves about the candidates...and I generalize as to the voters....imho
Unfortunately this is just a recent example of political correctness metastasizing into public policy. Here is a coward governor who could have said, 'I know what the second amendment says and this bill enforces it.' Saying that fundamental God given rights are a 'minor issue' is right out of the leftists playbook. This woman evidently has no capacity for independent thought. Hope the folks in OK remember this come election time.
She's never been more than a political hack for the GOP and I told her that in a town meeting when she basically gave nothing more than her talking point on illegal immigrants. She'll be getting a face full of my email shortly.
Why, for any deity's sake, would any public official thwart possession of a device, (suppressor) addressing prevalent pubic concerns (noise and hearing loss) ? Across the nation shooting sports enthusiasts are increasingly confronted with complaints (often resulting in local regulation) from noise/muzzle blast consequent to their sport.
Seems this governor is trying, (unsuccessfully, I hope) to "have her cake and calories too ! >Jeaff
She is GOP but she's an airhead. Common sense obviously does not belong to all political parties, or to all people labelled "conservative". Some candidates try to out-conservative each other by bragging that they are Christian! That's the easiest way to lose my vote.

"I don't really think there is any such thing as a "pro-gun politician". It's like saying there are bacteria that are "pro-autoclave"."
This comment still has me chuckling.
