A noble idea, but we are past the point in this country where facts matter or count for much. Any naysayers to the doctrine of gun control will be branded heretics, regardless of their academic credentials. Worse, they'll be treated like the worst kind of heretic - a priest who turns his back on his religion.
I agree with the intent, but I think the time for subtlety has escaped us.
Facts, however irrefutable, no longer matter in any public issue. An overweening bureaucracy, with the usual cover of "knee-jerk" elites in trail, has become the "rulers in fact" of "amerika ". The decrees of this oligarchy are the terms we must exist under, regardless of reality. >Jeff
All the above may be true but I sent John Lott a hundred because I can. At least someone digs for truth, whether it matters or not. Oh, and guberment doesn't give me a choice when it comes to 'contributing'.
