Texas open carry group seeks spotlight on harassment of veterans and gun owners

“Over the past week this issue has gotten even more complicated as the police in the town refuse to file police reports about one of their residents making terroristic threats against our group's members.” Franklin was referring to a local resident who opposes lawful open carry of long guns to the point of pledging to inflict harm on people he calls “cowards.”

If the Texas Rangers refuse to act on a criminal complaint, it is a sad day for the residents of that state.

Their state legislature should stop screwing around, and legitimize open carry of rifles, period.

If a person is exercising their rights and not threatening anyone, they are not committing a crime.

Andrews' police chief makes it clear that some residents may use deadly violence against people exercising their rights in that city. Somebody there needs a wake up call.

Sigmund Freud, Known as the Father of Modern Psychology

"A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity."

Well since we all know that the vast majority of liberals are afraid of weapons, it correctly portrays what we have always known. After all the entire psychological discipline is patterned after the foundation Freud established.

Now think all these people need to have their rights removed and be declared a threat to themselves and others. All politicians of this color need to be removed from office for a disability and every school teacher and school administrator over reacting to such things as cookies or pop tarts being bitten off in the shape of a gun be removed for cause. Hell they have already failed the Rorschach ink blot test. They see guns in everything. If that is not paranoia nothing is.

First I am a liberal, and no I'm not afraid of weapons. I own one of those evil "ASSAULT WEAPONS".

Second, most Americans (not just liberals) don't want to see people walking around with assault rifles as it means that criminals can do the same. Remember the constitution applies to everyone including criminals.

Third, most of the people who want this are insecure and tend to see this type of firepower as a way to insure power over others who are not armed (such as most liberals). I support concealed carry laws because this way people can not use their weapons to intimidate others while still able to defend themselves legitimately.

Fourth, Freud is not the foundation of all modern psychology is based upon. It is simply the beginning of its evolution. Most of his ideas have long been replaced and thoroughly disproven in modern psychology.
