Politics of losing the Mandate of Heaven. Needling the tyrants with our defiance.

Commentary magazine weighs in on the impending political crisis for Obama's party with
"Minimum Wage Won’t Save Dems in 2014."
GOA sends an email outlining its priorities for 2014:
(1) THE ELECTIONS.
(2) THE ELECTIONS.
(3) THE ELECTIONS.
They explain:
We believe 2014 will be a "tsunami year" for Republicans, as a result of the waves of catastrophic news which we predicted for the anti-gun ObamaCare law. Plus, the President will fall far short of his target of enrolling 7,000,000 people, because young folks are not being successfully suckered into buying overpriced insurance which does nothing but subsidize wealthier people's health care.
As many as 80-100 million people may lose their health insurance, as the "employer mandate" kicks in. Millions more will lose their jobs. And a large swath of the middle class will end the year with the prospect of penalties far above the $95 floor.
We expect Obama will waive all penalties for 2014. But this won't help the anti-gun senators who, during the shutdown, were forced to reaffirm their support for every word of ObamaCare.
There will be open seats in West Virginia and South Dakota, in which anti-gun Democrats are expected to be replaced with more pro-gun Republicans.
In Montana, the anti-gun governor is going to try to play a "slime game" with the seat of ObamaCare architect Max Baucus, but we don't expect it will ultimately succeed.
Among the other anti-gun senators who could be driven from office are (in rough order of vulnerability): Mark Pryor (Arkansas), Mark Begich (Alaska), Mary Landrieu (Louisiana), Kay Hagan (North Carolina), Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire), Mark Udall (Colorado), Al Franken (Minnesota), Jeff Merkley (Oregon), Mark Warner (Virginia), Tom Udall (New Mexico), and two open seats in Iowa and Michigan.
As the two recall elections in Colorado showed, Obama has awakened a sleeping giant -- the Second Amendment community. And states previously thought to be "blue" are hardly blue anymore.
This is priority number one for 2014. Pro-gunners MUST take the Senate away from Harry Reid before the Supreme Court comes up for grabs. And we must do that before a Pelosi-controlled House can rubber-stamp Obama gun ban proposals that could outlaw over 50% of existing handguns and long guns.
(4) OBAMACARE.
We told them so. GOA predicted every catastrophe which is currently facing ObamaCare, starting out with the flawed grandfather clause that would cause millions to lose the coverage "they currently have."
We alone predicted the anti-gun consequences, which are now coming to pass, as Obama uses "executive actions" to get doctors to question their patients about the guns they own -- and enter that information into a federal database. One of our members even told us that a doctor refused to accept patients who did not want to give him all the information about the guns they own.
Will House Speaker John Boehner use the tools at his disposal, including the debt limit, to force Democrats to either "own" or repudiate ObamaCare? We will have to wait and see.
Well, I wouldn't hold my breath on that. But the fact of the matter is that 2014 could well be 1994 and 2010 all rolled into one. The problem for liberty-minded folks, however, is to make sure that the Boehners, Grahams, and Cornyn's don't make it past the primaries, or, if they do, that they are so scared by the near-death experiences that they change their behavior. I know. I know. That would be a triumph of hope over experience, but this will be a watershed year -- one way or the other.
This does not relieve us of the responsibility of fighting out every threat to our liberties on every local and state battlefield -- hence the smuggling campaign and other efforts. But the coming "tsunami" will become more evident as the election nears and that political reality will assist us as well. Do the Dems and the RINOs really want to remind firearm owners of their tyrannical moves this past year? We'll find out, as we continue to needle them with our defiance.

Once again, underestimating the Obamacrats. Obamacare is proceeding exactly as planned.

I'm awaiting the following announcement from the Dems:
"We tried to fix our broken health care system but even our valiant attempts have failed. There is no alternative left but to chuck it all and provide 'Medicare for Everybody'"

I don't know about Boehner & Graham, but Cornyn will damn sure be primaried. The only question is how all the newly arrived foreigners will vote. Hopefully they can be educated in time.

But it is important that we back the right kind of Republican. No more of the establishment types we have been cursed with in the form of McConnell and the Orange Weeper. Christie is another leftist asshole. Along with Susan Collins, Pete King, Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor. These folks need to be replace by candidtates FROM the people. Not elitist snobs and Democrat Lite candidates that will do nothing to reverse the damage done by the Marxist Progressive Democrats. We need a return to the principles our founders gave us in the Constitution and a return the the Christian values this nation once held dear. I will support no establishment RINO's only a Tea Party candidate will do. I hope that after the RINO country clubbers fuck this election up the way they did in 2012 the Tea Party morphs into a true Conservative party that will lead this country back to it's roots by establishing a government of the people, not the professional politicians. Then, let the trials begin.

Pray tell, what good would it possibly do to give the Republicans back the Senate? They are unable, and unwilling to lead .... they hate the Tea Party, They have turned into Progressive "Light" and I for one am damn tired of hearing how elections matter, etc. etc.

I can think of no good reason to back but a handfull of them and the rest can go squat in woods. I am tired of being betrayed by these arrogant assholes and I have held my nose and voted for the lesser of two evils for the LAST time! Until the Republican party starts actually doing something constructive rather than being led around by their nose rings by the commie bastards in the Democrat party they can all go to hell!!

I would rather vote for a Democrat than most Republicans .... at least I know what I can expect from them. Call me crazy, but unless you vote out every incumbent nothing will do any good ... it is too entrenched and impossible to change. I vote "NO" .... let's settle this thing once and for all!!!

You must remember, that the stupid party can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with incredible ease and speed.
Look for the stupids to divide their constituency by attempting to minimize and neuter the Tea Party, irritating and antagonizing conservative groups, selling out to progressive wonks and in general acting even more stupidly than normal.
Finally, don't discount what "FedUp" said above.

Have you ever met an Obamacare supporter who didn't prefer 'single payer' or consider Obamacare a stepping stone to 'single payer'?

The repub party is DEAD as any kind of Conservative entity and un-fixable and un-redeemable at this point. They are at the same stage as the 'Whig' party was in the 1850's prior to the Civil War, when the 'Whigs' had to be replaced by the then brand new repub party because the 'Whigs' had become just as pro-slavery and left wing as the dems of that time and a virtual mirror image of each other.

The repubs have full control of the House and the purse strings and still manage to not defund Obamacare and alway's manage to find just enough votes "Miraculously" to alway's keep advancing Obama and the dems agenda ahead.

In the senate, pretty much the same thing. As long as there is a repub party, there will alway's be a "Gang of 14" or a "Gang of 8" or a "Gang of 2" in the senate, to keep helping the dems to push this Country left and off of a cliff.

The repubs could have stopped every last bit of Obama's agenda but alway's miraculously pull his "Fat out of the fire". That can't be a "Coincidence" at this stage.

Don't forget, New York's State senate, is controlled by the repubs and they could have and should have been able to easily stop the 'Safe Act' but once again the repubs stepped forward to help destroy our Liberty. That is NO ACCIDENT! They are All lefties. The repubs are just pretending to be Conservative.

We need a new Constitutionally Conservative Party to replace the repubs now and the best way to start going about that is to deny the repub party any financial and voter support.

That will force the repubs to come out of their Bushian left wing redoubt, to pursue us, as they need us if for nothing else, if not to justify their numeric Voter Fraud. We have nothing to lose at this stage by abandoning the repubs as both political parties are of the left!

I don't get it. If gun rights are your object, the last thing you should do is vote R. Just look at how good Obama has been for us. AR-15's have become commonplace. Gun owners are irate and motivated, and ready for revolution.

They all fall asleep when an R gets elected.
