Top generals: Obama is 'purging the military'

Describe president's actions as 'emasculating,' ranks now lack 'will to win'

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady, recipient of the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, as well as other top retired officers, say President Obama’s agenda is decimating the morale of the U.S. ranks to the point members no longer feel prepared to fight or have the desire to win.

“There is no doubt he (Obama) is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him” over such issues as “homosexuals, women in foxholes, the Obama sequester,” Brady told WND.

“They are purging everyone, and if you want to keep your job, just keep your mouth shut,” one source told WND.

Anonymous said...: Upon thinking about this piece more, I think the hatred of the military is not because of its military purpose at all. I believe that he hates the military because it represents a center-of-excellence for conservative thought. If he can weaken and fracture the military, than he can weaken and remove the opposition to liberal ideas and policies.

Just like the liberals have the university system as a COE for liberal thought, they hate the military because we teach and revere honor, integrity, professionalism. Patriotism, liberty, excellence: all values which clash with the populist, socialist, fascist ethic.

Rather than confront directly, the Maoist would choose to attack the foundation and support structure. Fight the long war. If veterans groups are so difficult to deal with, then by corrupting the military institution the liberals can sterilize the source of their opposition.

Rewrite history to change events, remove documents such as the federalist papers. Own the universities. Own the media and information channels. Neuter veterans groups. Neuter the military so they cease to produce critical, conservative thinkers.

Makes me start thinking of long term strategies, and force multipliers. Both direct and indirect.
