Monkeys will fly from the proverbial ass before NY's lovable governor with the mob boss persona admits he screwed up.
But then again, perhaps it isn't a screw up and this was the intent all along - a few innocent bystander casualties are acceptable as long as the progressive greater good is realized, right?
A group that would vote for a sleazy, arrogant power freak like Andrew Cuomo is a group that I can't comprehend.

What do we expect? We have a guy here in Ky. named Rollin Curtis at ,"At The Front Militaria" who ranted today that he thinks that ALL guns should be registered and all gun owners licenced, this from a guy that sells NAZI uniforms for a living, and brags in his blog about hunting in Ky. with his MG-42.(belt fed heavy Machine gun, a felony in the commonwealth). I guess it is OK if you are BETTER than everyone else.

The article points to lists of Dem vs Rep defections on the vote. This is not a Dem vs Rep issue. It is a freedom vs tyranny issue.

Looks as if "Old Yellowstain" is already laying the groundwork for his surrender. Boehner Declares 'Hastert Rule' Was 'Never a Rule to Begin With'.

Speaker John Boehner is not committing himself to following the so-called Hastert Rule in the House's upcoming battles over gun control, immigration reform, and dealing with the nation’s long-term debt.

“Listen, it was never a rule to begin with,” the Ohio Republican insisted during a news conference Thursday, though he added, “Certainly my prerogative—my intention—is to always pass bills with strong Republican support.”

Rollin said that? I used to re-enact with him in the '90s and wouldn't have thought he'd say something that stoopid. I am not surprised, however, that our two loser RINO Senators (TN- Alexander and Corker) voted in favor of the gun control bill. Neither one is very conservative. I've supported them in the past, but that support ends today.

Check out the story on Weaselzippers about GOP Sen. Mark Kirk saying booze and parties on Joe Manchin's yatch led to bi-partisan deal on gun control. The whole story is on the WashingtonTimes website under gun control. Can't seem to put the link here.
