Mike I'm not so sure it was as "tragic" as all that. This guy kile was training ATF FBI DHS USSS and other secret sqwerl alphabet soup snipers to hunt and kill- US!
Mike, CBS News also had an account of this at http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57567323/ex-navy-seal-chris-kyle-murdered-in-texas/, and the most telling thing are the comments from obvious leftists, practically celebrating his death as fitting irony for a "murderer." That is the message active duty military needs to hear--if they violate their oaths, what the people they will be siding with think of them.
Chris Kyle's death is indeed a tragedy. To have survived the Battle of Ramadi, then be taken down at home, is beyond words. I cannot imagine the impact on his wife and two kids. That kind of grief knows no comfort. May God be with them.
Mike, Have you read the comments there? The libtards are dancing on his grave! Sad, sad day. An American hero lost. Does the shooter have any connections to islam? DixieDennis
I have no idea what really happened, nor for what reason or at who's behest, if any. It is possible that the perp was just a wannabe looking to cash in.
But it stinks to High Heaven and NOTHING would surprise me now.
Having seen Chris Kyle in many interviews and knowing of his dedicated and valorous service, I would not discount him as a likely ally on our side.
i feel we are unlikely to get a motive -- maybe not even a confession. but if we do, now is as good a time as any to talk about "loyalty testing" in the gunny community.
i don't quite have all the words but the moral of the story is: you don't shoot what you haven't identified, but someone with PTSD might, conceivably. even among your own buddies, you'd better know who thinks what about your politics and those of your friends and family.

sad ...I remember way back an fighter pilot setting in his yard got ran over by drunk driver, just not right.
The sh*t is going down, boys. Obama is going down his enemies list. This is civil war.
I strongly disagree with anonymous about the training. Sad day for Patriots and most importantly the Kyle family. RIP Hero!
Anonymous 1:41 and Anonymous 3:58, Exactly! Kyle was assasinated! You can add this to the Seal Team Six member's who were Murdered in Afghanistan.

And therefore a likely target of our Enemy.
May G-d condemn his assasin.
Chris Kyle was an outspoken opponent of Obama's gun control schemes.
I am sure it all a coincidence, nothing to see here, just like Fast and Furious-- wasn't the Super Bowl a great game!
