Texas revisits allowing open carry of handguns.

"Texas is one of only a handful of states that does not allow some form of open carry despite being one of the most pro-Second Amendment states in the country," said Lavender, R-Texarkana. "It is important we pass open carry this session."

We have several problem politicians in Texas. The first is John Cornyn who doesn't recognise defense against tyranny as a "legitimate purpose" of the Second Amendment.

One Texas patriot introduced a very good bill, HB 553, which would call for the arrest and imprisonment of any Federal Agent that tried to enforce any new gun restrictions or registration in the state. My representative Bill Callegari refuses to support or vote for this bill, but assures me he is a hunter and supports the Second Amendment. State Senator Joan Huffman, originally from Louisiana, also refuses to support this bill. Up date your lists, Texans, and spread the word.

The Texas lege is full of mealy mouthed weasels who spew pro 2A liberty kibbles & bits to get elected but then refuse to walk the talk.

Take names and kick their asses out in 2014; it's too late for this session.

You mean they like the idea of open carry, but only if you beg for and receive a Government persmission slip first?

Yeah, that is an improvement...
