People's World (the newspaper of the Communist Party USA) sez: "U.S. gun culture diagnosed as a social disease."

Gee, and all this time I thought communism was a social disease.
More analysis is needed on this tragic phenomenon, particularly from the perspective of the Marxist theory of alienation, whereby some citizens become estranged from their own humanity.
In the meantime, to protect ourselves we need a "National Commission on Hate Crimes and Mental Health;" the tightening of gun laws; a huge reduction of public access to guns; banning of sales of the most lethal guns, assault weapons, etc.; national restoration of the mental health system; and a banning of huge ammo clips -- for just a start.
They must just object to guns in the hands of non-party members. Either that or they figure they control the guns of the federal government already. Now, come to think of it, there just might be something to THAT theory.

All those millions who were murdered in the Soviet Union during the last century must have been killed by those citizens who had "become estranged from their own humanity. Go figure!

Gee, I thought Marxism caused people to be estranged from their own humanity--you know, what with all the torture and murder and mass executions and snitch culture and forced labor camps and stuff.

But what do I know? I'm just another all-American gun nut.

Remarkable. It's like falling through some sort of time warp.

Love the way one of the commenters schooled him.

Ah yes .... the old things never go away. If you resist the "State" then you must be mentally unfit to stay in society, and off to the "gulogs". Millions slaughtered and worked to death in the camps for daring to resist tyranny.

America has become a nation of fools they watch as their freedoms are thrown on the ash heap of liberty and change the freakin channel.

Depends on one's definitions. The socialist/statist definition of "humanity" looks a lot like what we call ANTS.

To them, total acceptance of the ant like definition of humanity is required for "mental health."

So, to them, any resistance to their definition of humanity results in mental illness at the very least.

Naturally, some ants ARE more equal than others... And you are never going to talk them out of it.

The Mannlicher-Carcano rifle was a $12 gun! Even in Kennedy's day, it was considered of such poor quality that it would have been nearly impossible to use it with the precision required for the task, let alone fire the magic bullet that changed trajectories three times, impacted two persons, a car seat, and then was found laying next to one of the victims fully intact. Isn't it time the official record is changed to reflect what really happened?
