To the best of my knowledge, the only thing the UN has accomplished of late is the introduction of a strain of cholera usually found in Asia into the population of Haiti.
Given that the largest share of UN operations are funded by the USA, I think it's safe to say those are our tax dollars at work.
Not "deceptive" statistics, Mike. Deliberate lies. Lies from the same source that puts Mali's homicide rate at 1 per 100,000. Unless it is begging for money, when it puts the homicide rate at 38.
And to give the UN full credit, their "blue hats" have turned pedophilia into a fine art.
